Monday

Today wasn't a very good day. Already yesterday I felt bad and had trouble falling asleep. It's this course that is haunting me. Not that I don't like it or don't like the people in it. Don't get me wrong. These people are some of the nicest I've met in a long time and so very supportive. But it's me or rather my body that can't cope. There is a reason to why I have pension half time and only able to work half time and this became so very obvious now after only two days. I got aches and pains directly after and didn't feel well until Friday. Then again yesterday my heart started beating so fast and that's why I couldn't fall asleep. So when I got to TSN I went to see my consultant and talked to him about how I feel and we directly went to Ylva who's our teacher. We have come to an agreement that I get individual training with Ylva and only 1 hour each time. So the next time I will meet with her is on Wednesday and then we'll take it f

Skogsröjet Rejmyre

Yesterday I went to Skogsröjet, Rejmyre to see H.E.A.T but as I said before that wasn't the main reason. I had agreed with Karin, Jimmy's girlfriend that she could do me company while driving down there. It's a good 2 1/2 hours drive and it's nice to have someone to chat with and it's a bigger chance that you stay awake ;-). Anyway Karin was to come from Borlänge on train but of course SJ couldn't deliver. So she had to take a bus between two places and then yet another train. So we arranged for her to go off at Arlanda and I picked her up there. It all went well and we were on the road around 3PM (over an hour later than planned). We had so much fun on the way down and so much to talk about so when we got closed to Norrköping I said she needed to check the map where we should turn. She said that time had went so fast and it didn't feel like 220 km more so 70 km :-)) We arrived at 5.15PM and at every security check I said I was to drive artists so we got to

Another week gone by

Jonas and Mandy in London. LOVE!! Happy 18th Birthday Mandy :-) Last I wrote I started the new course with traffic chaos. The following day was better traffic wise but it was a long day for me. I came home around 5.30 PM and at 6PM our caterer came to talk about how we are going to seat everyone. More about that the week after next week. On Wednesday I went to see Mom who had a good day in the sense that she could walk and eat. As usual she has a hard time recognizing people and also me. She can look at me at a photo and say it's me but she doesn't know it's me in front of her. We had a good time and talked a lot about death and funerals. She "sees" Dad quite often and she talked a lot about that too. So very uplifting ;-) I had bought her some warmer clothes because she's always freezing and soon it will be autumn. She was very happy for them. Yesterday we packed the program for Rheumatic association's autumn and sent it out to our members. Today I went t

New course and traffic chaos

I started the new course today and I went by public transportations which I normally don't. I hate to sit crowded with people sneezing, coughing, talking in mobile phones or listening to MP3's so loud that everyone hears. This morning, typically, there had been an electric error. Someone or something had teared down an electric cable of some sort on the line I go, of course. This meant that the trains were very late and when my train came I could just squeeze in before the doors closed. At the next station noone could enter and it was so crowded you could hardly breathe. I had to stand the whole way to Stockholm and we arrived just 5 minutes before my course started and I had a 15 min. walk. So of course I was late. But it didn't matter because I wasn't the only one. This morning also on the subway there had been a fire at Gamla Stan subway station and it was risk that things would explode so everyone had to evacuate. All this together with yet another train into town t

H.E.A.T at Fadderbyn, quiet Saturday

I woke up at 4.30AM of the rain. It hit the windows hard and I had to cloose mine because it rained in. I then fell asleep again and woke up at 8, still raining hard and it was so dark that the streetlamps still was lit. This is not good when H.E.AT is to perform outside in the afternoon but around midday the rain stopped and it become lighter and lighter. So by the time it was time for them to perform the sun even tried to show herself :-) It has been and is still rather warm though which is nice. At Fadderbyn I met up with Sara from the studio, 2 of the guys in Tension Grace, all the girlfriends except Anthea and also Mike and Mickan. It's always nice to meet everyone and we do have something in common :-). Then the guys came on stage and they did an acoustic performance. Great stuff and it really shows how much musicality they have. During one song they really got feeling and started jamming. I loved it and so did many more. You could see they really had fun up there. I hope yo

Planning and listening

Today we had the first boardmeeting with the Rheumatic association after summer. We planned the whole autumn with activities for our members and we will also take part in a big exhibition in a mall where we will present our association and hopefully get more members. It was nice to meet everyone again although many are still on holiday. A good meeting which resulted in many good decisions. Tonight Hasse and I sat down and planned. What did we plan? Well, I won't tell you yet but you will know in a couple of weeks ;-) Tomorrow we are, or at least me, going to Fadderbyn where H.E.A.T will play. It's their way of paying forward. They have their rehearsing studio there at a very low cost so they play there every year or at least have so for 2 years at least. Next week I will start my course. In Stockholm!! I hate going on public transportations especially now with this Swineflu. It isn't good for neither me nor Hasse to get that. Especially Hasse who has lungproblems must be ca

H.E.A.T update, visit to my former work

This is where I want to be right now!!! (Las Vegas of course) And where I think H.E.A.T would love to play :-) Today I have been to my former work for a meeting. I really don't know why we should meet because nothing new was said and I still don't have a new job :-( I don't know what to do. One side of me thinks it's rather nice to be home and do things when I'm feeling well and have the time whether it's at midnight or 5 AM. Another side, my more realistic one, says I really need to get a job soon because it's that need of money that talks and I do need a job for that. I mean the bills have to be paid no matter what, isn't that right? But it's hard since I can only work 50% because of my rheumatic diseases and if I tell them that when I apply for a job I don't stand a chance. But on the other hand isn't it worse if you got to know that after you have employed someone? I think so, and I really have a hard time lying, or rather not telling. Is

WELCOME

Don't forget: KEEP ON DREAMING (borrowed from H.E.A.T's homepage) Since I put the flagcounter on my blog I have actually realized how many outside of Sweden that is reading it. It is awesome that you want to read and I wish you all a warm WELCOME. I hope you will find it interesting and return. As you might have understood by now I'm Mom to the keyboardist in H.E.A.T, Jona Tee, and this band is just great. I hope you all had a chance to hear their music. Their homepage is HEATSWEDEN and if you want to see them and listen to them check this out: Sommarkrysset with H.E.A.T It's from a live TV-show at Grona Lund on Saturday. H.E.A.T is actually going to Tokyo, Japan, in October to play at Loud Park09 with among others Judas Priest. I saw someone in Japan reads this so spread the word. Also I have my Mom at a home for elderly since she's suffering from Alzheimer's. Yesterday me, my sister Helen, her daughter Bianca took her for lunch to Hågelby Inn which is a be

H.E.A.T live at Sommarkrysset TV4

Yesterday I had a blast seeing H.E.A.T at Gröna Lund in Stockholm. I arrived at 4 and met the guys and most of the girlfriends who had just arrived from Gothenburg where they were on Friday listening to Europe's free concert at Götaplatsen but also to play at the afterparty at Hard Rock café. The girls were pretty tired but the guys were ready to rock. I waited for Mandy, Johanna and Minna to arrive and when they did I hugged Mandy and accidently smacked Johanna's nose, sorry Johanna. After that we went to the restaurant where the other girls were eating. So Mandy and Johanna had a bite to eat while I went out again this time to meet Anders and Kicki. We dediced that we would eat at Tyrol and they went in and took a table. I then walked with the girls to the entrance we should use, as we were on the guestlist :-) On the way all they guys came and also Suzan from their record company and we got a chance to talk to them. We went in and we had guaranteed seating so I went to Tyrol

Helsinki and H.E.A.T (of course)

We have just come back from our little minivacation in Helsinki. We had such a wonderful time maybe not for a party-animal but for those who wants to relax, rewind and stress down (get the picture?) We got this wonderful Commodorecabin with balcony which we sat down on with a cup of coffe (complimentary) when we came onboard. Together with a bowl of fruit and a whisky. We changed clothes and went down for dinner at Maxime. Very good and so much to eat, but we drank a wonderful wine too. After dinner we went for a walk on the ship and I, of course, did some heavy shopping in the perfumshop. I always do because it's the only time I really have time to try and to see what's right for me. Boring as we are we then went up to the cabin where we sat on the balcony drinking beer (that is Hasse) and watching the archipelago go by. We had had rain and it was a lot of clouds but suddenly the sun came and we had this gorg eous sunset (look at the photo). We arrived in Helsinki at 10AM and

Cruise to Helsinki, Finland

Today me and Hasse are going on a cruise to Helsinki. This time with Silja line. We have booked a Commodore cabin with balcony. Why not have the best ;-) Then we are staying one night at a new botique hotel, Hotel Haven, one night to be able to walk around Helsinki also by night without stress. I will tell you afterwards if the hotel is as good as they say, 5 star. Then we are going back on Thursday, of course in a Commodore cabin with balcony ;-), and will be home again on Friday. I will certainly try to remember to take photos so I can share with you when we come home. I just hope that the weather will be fairly good. It doesn't look that way judging from the weather reports so we have taken umbrellas with us. I also don't hope we will have a stormy and windy boattrip but a calm and wonderful trip just as it can be in Sweden archipelago in summertime. Saturday, of course, Gröna Lund and Sommarkrysset. I'm really looking forward to that too because I haven't been to Gr

Brynäs hockey, Helen's birthday

Henrik signing autographs, proud grandpa by his side. On Friday Hasse went to Gävle to see our grandson, Henrik, compete in skills competition. He has made it to Brynäs A-lag and will play the elite-series this season. Isn't that great only 19? Anyway on Friday they presented the A-lag to the public in Läkerol arena and at the same time had this skills competition. They were divided into 2 teams and they had to perform different skills a hockeyplayer should have like puck-control, speedskating and more. Henrik's team actually won and Henrik won the penalty competition. Great job! Afterward they signed autographs. So now we have two celebrities in the family that signs autographs :-) but in totally different fields of course. Yesterday I went down to my Mom in Alby and joining us was Helen whose birthday it was. She turned ??, you should never reveal a lady's age, hihihi. Anyway Helen brought a cake which we ate while talking. I even sang to her - Happy birthday :-) And she

Nice weather, H.E.A.T and Mom visits

We have had really nice weather this week, so far, and it's now getting almost too hot, at least for me. Today we reached 30C and since we don't have any aircond it's not easy to be in the house. Therefore it's nicer to drive :-) Yesterday me and Jona went down to see my Mom. She has been very ill and since Jona is out touring he wanted to go there because you never know when it's going to be the last time. Funny enough she was quite cheerful and recognized Jona as the one playing and asked if he was out playing. She doesn't remember names but she does know our faces. I love this photo of my Mom and Jona. It's really love and they both looks so happy :-) We sat with her for a couple of hours chatting away mostly about old times. It was very nice. Afterwards we went to Danniel and had lunch together all three of us. Jona and I also did some shopping before heading home. Of course Jona forgot what he had bought so today I brought it to him since he needed it t

Fullmoon, H.E.A.T and more

It's fullmoon on Thursday and I can feel it already. Do you ever feel it? For me it's getting hard to sleep the whole night through, I have trouble falling asleep, I get headaches, I sweat more like coldsweat, I sometimes get dizzy and sometimes I'm shaky. I know friends of mine that often get nosebleed when it's fullmoon. No warewolf though :-) H.E.A.T is touring all over Sweden. Last Thursday they were in Luleå, on Saturday in Hunnebostrand which is on the west coast and the distance between those two are 1264 km!! On Friday they are back on the West Coast and on Saturday in Tranås. So a lot of travelling but they like it. H.E.A.T Interview (So sorry it's in Swedish but if you want anything translated just contact me) Tomorrow I'm going to my hairdresser a much needed meeting :-) and on Wednesday I'm going down to see my Mom and Jona will probably come too. She's very bad and we try to go and see her every other day. Me and my sister take turns since i
