TV4 and more....

I haven't had time to write for a while, as usual ;-) I have been busy with this and that. Me after visit to my hairstylist Since I last wrote I have been to my hairstylist, long overdue.  A rainy and foggy Malmo Last Friday and Saturday we had the Chairmen conference at Rosersberg and straightly after that I went to the Stockholm Central station to catch a train for Malmo where I attended a course in my economic program. Came home late Tuesday night. Up working, as usual, at 04.30. In the afternoon it was time for my flu shot, my Mekobalamin and Pneumonia shot so 3 at once. The next day, Thursday, I was supposed to go to Norrtalje for some treatment but I was a bit fiverish, after the shots probably, so we changed that to November instead. Haga park a rainy Saturday My friend Ingvor More of the Park Cosy fireplace Then yesterday, a very rainy and grey day, me and two other friends went to Haga parken which is the place where our Crownprincess Vic...

Ouch!!

OK, the weekend started out very well. We came home from Helsinki on Saturday and had a great night home in peace and quiet. Sunday I started cooking rather early in the morning. I treated my co-workers to a warm sandwichcake which I invented there and then. Lunch I took sandwiches which I cut the edges off. Then placed 15 of them on a baking paper on a oven plate. On the first layer I made a filling out of chantarelle cheese (soft), creme fraiche and creme fraiche with mushroms. The second filling was: 1 kg of ground beef, 2-3 onions, 3-4 mushroms. I fried these together until it was soft and done ;-) Then I sprinkled 2 tablespoons of flour, 2 tablespoons of Chinese soy sauce (not the Japanese ones, it's too thin), 2-3 dl of whipped cream and then water and spices. I used salt, white peppar, black peppar, chiliflakes (not too much) but you can take what you like.  The texture should be firm but spreadable. So I place 15 bread over the first layer and spread the second f...

Vasalopp Sunday

Here's some of the skiers on their way up the first hill Nothing much has happened this week. Just ordinary stuff like working, cooking etc. I did go to my hairstylist,  Suzanne Clausen on Wednesday and you might have seen my new hairdo on Facebook. I really liked the new color. I have very light highlights in the hair which makes me look very goldy blond. The night to Wednesday Jonas, Mandy and their friends returned from Thailand. They were supposed to land 0.55AM but didn't arrive until 01.55AM. I was awake until 1 AM watching if the plane would be more delated. Hasse was the one going out to Arlanda fetching them. They had had a great time and Jonas strongly recommended us to go there. I don't know, I'm more drawn to going west :-) Wonder why ;-) From Thailand - doing faces :-) Anyway today is one of Sweden's big days. Vasalopp day. I'm not sure you have heard of it? It's a skirace over 90 km! Yes that is the longest skirace the...

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

I wish all of my family and friends a Happy Valentine's Day and much love and tenderness. I just realized I haven't written for 10 days and I have no idea where time went or a little I do have ;-) I spent Thursday with my friend Anne in Norrtälje with treatment, lunch, chat and laughs. I have missed it since I haven't been able to go there for over a month. Then on Saturday we were invited to our good friends K and J for dinner. It was far too long since we saw them due to them being ill when we first decided to meet. We had a wonderful evening with a lot of good food, chatting, discussions and memories. After that we, on the way home, went to a place called Rosersberg where Jimmy from H.E.A.T playes trobadour. Half of H.E.A.T including parents, siblings and friends were there so we had a great time chatting, singing and more. We didn't come home until 0.30AM which is very rare for us.   Hasse and Matz   Me and Vonne having a good laugh   The Blue Laguna with w...

The day before Christmas Eve

Today is the last day before the Christmas celebrations tomorrow (here in Sweden that is). I still have cooking and baking to do but I just wanted to write some before I do that. On Wednesday we had our annual Christmas celebration at work and we started in the afternoon with glögg, coffee, gingerbreadcookies and lottery. I actually won one price - a open fire place for table (indoor). Very nice and hopefully we will use it a lot to create a nice atmosphere. After that we took taxis to Cajsa Warg where we were divided into 3 teams - the one who cooked starter - me in the main course team and of course we had a dessert team. And off we went cooking and drinking some very nice wine. We had a lot of great fun and since one of our common big interest at work is food and good wine we had a great time. For starters we had scallops with roasted pancetta, cauliflowermousse and applesyrup. Delicious!!! OK as usual the photo is the wrong way and I can't turn it here!! It's the ...

Snow and hard fall

Yes, finally it's snowing but it's not all good :-( I went to see my Mom yesterday and one enormous thing was that she recognize me and even said my name. That hasn't happened for ages. So I was happy. I Christmas decorated her room at the home and we had a good time listening to Christmas carols and Mom ate some chocolate I had brought. But then I went to see Danniel and that's when things started go wrong. Suddenly it had frozen, earlier it was kind of rain-snow but I wasn't prepared and as I went down I suddenly slipped on some ice, probably, and fell hard. I hit the back of my head on a stone pavement and it hurt like h..l. I think I even saw some stars. I didn't lose concious and I haven't been feeling sick but I have a huge bump on my head which is very very hurtful and I have a headache, I'm dizzy and the muscles on my neck are hurting so much it's hard to lie down (whiplash). But stubborn as I am I don't go to the ER. I hate it. And ...

Test pilot

Well, today I applied to be testpilot for a new healthier fish from Findus, coated with less egg and breadcrumbs. Since I usually not eat readymade fish like this I'm really interested in tasting this new thing and see if I like this more. It has before been more breadcrumbs than fish so this new product is said to have more fish. I hope I will be choosen for this. If you're interested you can read about it on this link: FINDUS TEST Otherwise it has been an ordinary Monday with work and a delicious lunch. In two weeks it's my turn again so I have to start thinking of what to cook :-) It's the last time this year so much depends on it. Do you have any suggestions? Have a good evening and talk to you soon :-)
