60 years old (young)??

Balloons on our bed ready to brighten up the party room They say I will turn 60 on Monday?! I suppose I will but I don't feel like 60. When I was younger like in my 20-s I thought people at the age of 60 were so old. I don't think that today and I don't know if it's because we look younger, we stay younger or if it only was because I was younger. I think I'm singing :-) Yesterday was my birthday party although it's not really until Monday but hard to have parties on Mondays :-) so Friday was a better option. What a night I had!!! Telling something to someone maybe ;-) Everything I wished for came true :-) I had my near and dear there, both family, friends and co-workers. Some were missed, of course, like my sisters. Neither of them could come. One because she lives very far away in LA. The other is with her work in Mallorca but I know both of them were there in thoughts. Me and Erik Grönwall singing together (!) And what a night it w...

WOW AND DOUBLE WOW!!

What a day and what a night yesterday! The venue after we had decorated (green and white are Rheumatic association colors) I couldn't have asked for more. They day started at 10.30 at Tre Rosor in Rosersberg where we, after checking in and having lunch, started packing goodiebags. What was in them? I can now tell you: There were shower gel and body lotion 250 ml each, two cruise vouchers, tootbrush and toothpaste, chocolate and an underlayer. Everyone was very happy and surprised when we handed them out :-) The goodiebags after being packed We had wonderful artists, H.E.A.T who played rock so all the ladies went up dancing. Being in pain as we is all the time music is one thing that makes you feel better, but of course today we could hardly walk and are in so much pain but it's worth it.     H.E.A.T on stage We also had two gorgeous cousins - Peter Johansson and Matilda Hansson - entertaining us. Peter is a friend and I asked him a long time ago if they cou...

Spamalot and very hot

On Saturday my celebration continued with going to the theatre with my sister Helen and her kids Bianca and Toni. We saw Spamalot which is a musical built from Monthy Pythons film Monty Python and the holy Grail. It's so funny and has great songs. I did see it in Malmö last autumn but this time it was a different cast and the leading lady is played by a friend Nina Söderquist. She played the role in London after winning a TV-competition here in Sweden where the price was to get the role as Lady of the Lake. When I was in Malmö she was on maternity leave and it was another one playing that role. Very good but not the same as Nina. She did a marvellous job and I can't imagine anyone else now doing that role. Afterwards we met up with her to chat for a while before the next show - yes, they do two on Saturdays. Bianca, Nina, me and Toni As you can see from the photo she's still with make-up. I had bought champagne in a nice package with a card and also made a big photo o...
