First week completed

5 year-celebration at work My first week at my new job is completed. It has been a great and tiring week :-) I started on Tuesday and left home at 8.05 AM and arrived 9 AM that is 55 minutes to go. So after talking to my neighbour I left the following morning at 7AM and arrived at work 7.17 AM. So from that day I will start early and miss the traffic, not that I miss it :-). Our cook who grilled to perfection  Anyway day 1 I just got to know the others and everyone is very nice and quite young. We eat at work all together between 11-12 at least those who are in. So now I bring my own food. It's much cheaper than buying. One funny thing is that each Monday one of us cooks for the others and then score the dishes. That's nice and I think a good way to get new ideas. God knows one need that from time to time. Me and Rose, who I'm replacing, went shopping for the party we had yesterday. It was to be a playful party since the firm celebrated 5 years. So we bought beachtenn

New job and Freedom rock release

This week so far has been very exciting to say the least. On Tuesday I had a second interview with the architectfirm I saw a month ago. This time with the full board. When I later that evening looked at my mail I had received an offer of employment which I accepted. I'm very excited about this job. It's being administrator with this small architectfirm, 10 employers, and to basically fix everything. I start week 21 so pretty soon. The other thing this week was the release of H.E.A.T's new CD Freedom Rock, yesterday. The day started at Swedish TV4 in their morningshow where they did an interview and performed two songs. Interview (in Swedish though but a good opportunity to see if you understand anything ;-). BEG BEG BEG live och We're gonna make it to the end . Enjoy!! In the afternoon they went to a big recordstore, Bengans skivbutik, in the middle of Stockholm where they played live, signed and sold CD's. Photos thanks to Pär Altan. Tomorrow I'm going

Once again......

The view from my window at hotel Savoy Yes, I am still alive although extremely exhausted. I haven't had time even to write my blogs which I usually love doing. So much has happened and I can't write about it all here in my blog because some things are very sensitive and involv other people. I have been to one interview during this time as choirassistent at the Cathedral in Uppsala. I haven't hear anything from them yet. The job is to look after up to 90 choirmembers, boys and girls in ages from 8 to 22. Almost never all 90 at the same time but often 50. See to it that they behave and especially during intermission. Also see to it that the required notes is in place, look after the rehearsalroom but also ordinary administrative tasks like booking tickets, hotels, concerts, pay bills, keep contact with parents and choirs in other countries. Accompanie on their tours. It could be really interesting but as I said I have to wait now for a couple of weeks before I know. An
