HOT HOT H.E.A.T

This month is NaBloPoMo in USA and my sis and nieces are really good in doing it. It means you should write something every day this month. We don't have anything like it here in Sweden and I'm not sure I could cope with it either. There is so much going on and I have a tendency to get very tired when I sit down by the computer :-) Thursday H.E.A.T shot a music video for their first single on the new album. Me and Peter Me and my sister Helen went to Norrköping which is about 2 hours drive from Stockholm to watch "Greatest hits of Rock and Pop". I had booked hotel room at Elite Grand hotel and we got a very nice junior suite on the top floor with dual aspect windows and great views of the river, the fountin and Norrköping. Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. On Saturday my celebration continued with going to the theatre with my sister Helen and her kids Bianca and Toni. We saw Spamalot which is a musical built from Monthy Pythons film Monty Python and the holy Grail. It's so funny and has great songs. I did see it in Malmö last autumn but this time it was a different cast and the leading lady is played by a friend Nina Söderquist. She played the role in London after winning a TV-competition here in Sweden where the price was to get the role as Lady of the Lake. When I was in Malmö she was on maternity leave and it was another one playing that role. Very good but not the same as Nina. She did a marvellous job and I can't imagine anyone else now doing that role. Afterwards we met up with her to chat for a while before the next show - yes, they do two on Saturdays. I have had a great weekend in Örebro with Champions of Rock, hotel, dinner and the company of my lovely sister. We started from Upplands Väsby midday and after a 2 1/2 hour drive we approached Örebro. We saw this big sign saying Conventum, Söder (south) in a mile, and that's where we should go off the highway. But no more sign saying Conventum or south so we continued driving but after a while we realized we were getting out of town again so first exit we went off and tried to turn around but almost ended up in another highway. Finally we were on the way again and when we now came from the south there was a big sign saying Conventum, city south so off we went. Those of you in Örebro that does the signs, please alter the one where it just say West not south!!! Anyway we reached the hotel and wanted to go out on town. It was now around 3.15PM and they said the shops were closed. Closed? on a Saturday afternoon? One mall might be opened, the receptionist said, but only until 4PM?! We...

I got an sms early this morning (or maybe it was night) from Jonas telling me that they had arrived safely in Tokyo. I did ask him before he left to let me know that they had arrived. It's quite a long trip but as I looked at the schedule I think it's the same flighttime as it is from London to Los Angeles so not too bad IF you have good seats. I mailed him asking him to post photos but he can't because he didn't have the cable with him so instead he sent me a photo of the area where they live. He said it's so big like 10 times Times Square. I'm so happy for him to be able to experience this. He will have memories for life to treasure. I can just see them at the home for elder sitting and talking to each other: Do you remember the time we went to Japan? Or the time we played in Long Beach, California? Those were the days.
