Erik Grönwall and Jona Tee - Highway to hell

Me and Hasse were at the Hadirajafestival today which is a festival that Erik Gronwall is arranging. He is also performing with an acustic set together with Jona. This is great I think and their two voices blend beautifully together. I will place a couple more videos here for you to enjoy :-)

Long, long time overdue....long post

I just saw that I haven't written since February 17 and now it's June 10. Wow, shame on me and where did that time go? February was filled with annual meetings and interviews. I helped my sister recruit a dentist nurse to the clinic and I found a perfect match. I had 35 applications and she was the one I felt was right just by reading her CV. So now she has been working with my sis for 2 months and they both (and the others at the clinic) are very happy. Then it was annual board meeting at my work and I was elected to the board which really is something big and shows a big appreciation for my work. March was Easter month and of course a couple of dinners here at home with the boys and Mandy. Jonas was on a European and Swedish tour with Martina Edoff. He also went to Milan for a concert with the band TREAT.  Easter dinner with the boys, Helen and her family Pie for dessert One major thing that really took all my "extra" time from January was plan...

October is almost over and we are officially on winter time

Yes, you read it right. We turned our clocks back 1 hour Saturday night so now it's wintertime which means it's a bit lighter in the morning but darker much faster in the afternoon.   In the music bar on board the train. Anders playing In a way I love this time of year. You can cuddle up in the sofa with a nice blanket, light candles, read a good book or watch TV without feeling guilty that you're not out.  Also the air is fresh and crisp which I love, no mosquitos or wasps, perfect!!                         Can you see who is behind me on the orange poster at Scandinavium? Three of the artists, Peter, Helen and Norm I haven't written since September 26 and that has a lot of reasons. One is that I have had so much to do another that I haven't been feeling well so I took the decision not to write for a while but rest from the blog. During this month I h...
The summer continues with music and festivals :-) Erik Gronwall Lägg till bildtext Yesterday it was time for Hadirajafestival which is the festival Erik Gronwall has arranged together with 2 others. He performed as the last act of the evening together with Jona on guitar. Here's a link to their performance Erik and Jona with Higher I also found a new group which I really liked. It's a group called Sir REG and they are from Ireland. It's like being at a pub in Ireland and you really can't sit still with this kind of music, at least not me. Sir REG at Hadirajafestival   The day before this I had my mother-son day with Jonas. Since the weather has been just wonderful the last week I booked us on a cruise in the archipelago. This time to Sandhamn via a very narrow canal that you only can go through with this ship we went on. What a day! Sunshine all day long, the best company, good food and drink and I even got to go into the water. Not bathing though b...

What a day - Eurovision win for Sweden and a wonderful Hagapark Day

Måns Zelmerlöw won the Eurovision for Sweden yesterday in Vienna. I was too tired to sit up and watch it. After Måns had sang I fell asleep and got the news at 4AM. I have now seen it in rerun and it was just as exciting although I knew the outcome. Before that we had our much anticipated Hagapark Day. They started with me waking up at 3 by the sound of heavy rain! Oh no, was my first thought. But by the time I left for the Hagapark at 05.30AM it was sunny. Suppliers were already in place and had started working. During the first 2 hours I had to run from one end to the other to show everyone where everything were supposed to be, how to place all the furnitures, how to place the stage, the artisttent, the toilets etc etc.  At 8 AM some others came to help out while I furnitured the artist tent, took care of the catering showing them where the food and cake were supposed to go. We had cakes for 625 people (that was including artists and volunteers).  In the artist ten...

Tomorrow is the big day - Hagapark Day

This last week has been filled with last preparations for the Hagapark Day which will culminate tomorrow. But the week started very bad :-( On Monday I woke up and couldn't walk!! Yes, litteraly. I had so much pain in my pelvis that I couldn't lift my feet and make them walk. But of course I did went to work and held in everything I could get hold on to get some support. But at last they sent me home. I had a bit of panic. I had to be able to walk tomorrow! So I took a big dose of cortisone and booked an appointment with my doctor the next morning. And yes I did stay home from work on Tuesday. The doctor prescribed strong double painkillers, continue the cortisone but then reduce it gradually. Of course it was inflammation - again! So on Wednesday I was able to walk much better and yesterday, thank God, I could walk a lot. We had a run through with all suppliers from stages to tents to furniture and also sponsors. Then in late afternoon we had a information m...

Quiet week

We had a lovely celebration of Emil's birthday last Sunday. All the boys came over, Mandy sadly worked and couldn't be here, and we had a great lunch together. Emil This picture is taken last Sunday :-) and as you can see it's very sunny.  After that it has been raining a LOT and today is no exception. It has rained since this morning and it's cold. One day this week it was -2C in the morning!! In May!  That is not OK! I sure hope it will have sort of rained off now so we get nice weather on Saturday when we have the Hagaparkday. From the official site visitstockholm.se I have placed our event on different sites like this official one www.visitstockholm.se. See the photo above. And also here: https://www.facebook.com/events/453669161458729/ We have also advertised all over Stockholm with big posters and  I will be on Radio Stockholm this week.
