 Yesterday it was time for Hadirajafestival which is the festival Erik Gronwall has arranged together with 2 others. He performed as the last act of the evening together with Jona on guitar. Here's a link to their performance

I also found a new group which I really liked. It's a group called Sir REG and they are from Ireland. It's like being at a pub in Ireland and you really can't sit still with this kind of music, at least not me.

The day before this I had my mother-son day with Jonas. Since the weather has been just wonderful the last week I booked us on a cruise in the archipelago. This time to Sandhamn via a very narrow canal that you only can go through with this ship we went on.
What a day! Sunshine all day long, the best company, good food and drink and I even got to go into the water. Not bathing though but just as I usually do in LA, that is up to my knees.

I love the days I spend with each one of my sons. It's something different to meet like this when they are grown-up and for me personally I have a need to spend time alone with them and catch up on everything.

Next week it all starts up again for real. It's work, it's meeting with the Rheumatic association, it's time to get my feet done and I also have a meeting with my dentist (my sis) So full steam ahead :-)

    I think you are more like Nuri than me (I don't know about Helen) as far as dancing is concerned. I am a little self conscious to get up and dance and sing -unless I had a few drinks- but Nuri , she hears music and she is out dancing and showing off even if she's the only one dancing lol.
    You really had a fun filled summer doing lots of cruises. I am so glad you are feeling so well too, maybe the sun helps you feel better :)

    Helen is also a dancer and showgirl much more than me. I don't want to show off but at the same time I can't sit still. So many times I sit down and move to the music.
    I do have had a great summer with lots of things going on and it's not over yet :-)
    I am not well at all I'm afraid but these things make me forget the pain and as always I do have to have something to look forward to in order to cope with everything :-)
    Hope you are OK and are getting excited for the trip to Spain :-)

    MIa, I said Nuri likes to show off, I was not talking about you. She even got in the dance cages in the 70's clubs LOL. Even now, there's nothing she loves more than be the center of attention.
    And what do you mean you are not well at all?? I thought you were feeling much better. In the pictures you look great!

I wonder if anyone can see and read my blogg? I haven't had any comments in so long that's why I ask. Erik didn't win a Grammy last night but he had a blast and he and his fiancé looked just great! Another Swede, Ludwig Göransson, won 3 prices though. Congrats to him.

On popular demand

I have on popular demand decided to start writing again. I haven't had time to do this blog for a lot of reasons mostly lack of time. There is so much to do and so little time. Since I last wrote there have been a big change and it's my grandson. Yes, I'm a granny now to the most adorable boy, Eddie. He's now 19 months old and I love him to the moon and back. He's my joy and I'm so happy I can see him grow. I have really been there from the moment he was born (almost).  Always on the piano the first thing he do. His parents called me the morning of April 23 last year at 0415AM and said it was time. So I just rushed out of bed, drove to them and then drove them to the hospital. It was a long day before we they called and told us that Eddie was born in the evening. Only 1 1/2 day later I fetched them and drove the new little family home. Since they don't have a car I have driven them where they want to go. The first 6 months were quite difficult wi...

Sad day

Tonight Olle, my adoptive father that has been like my father almost all my life, died just before 9PM. It was very quick. I talked to the nurse at 6PM and everything was calm then. Just a bit over 2 hours later she called and said he's gotten worse. I asked how and she said his skin changed colour and that he could have 10 minutes or 10 hours left. I was just trying to get to my sister on the phone and ask her if we should go down when the phone rang again just 15 minutes afterwards and it was the nurse telling me that it was over. He went very peacefully and in his sleep. At the end he was given a lot of morphine so he wouldn't be in pain, which he wasn't. I called my sister but we both felt that we already had said our goodbyes and therefore didn't go down to say a last goodbye. He is probably up there somewhere looking down and sensing our feelings. We haven't been able to reach our mother yet and we probably won't tonight so I will tell her when I go there ...
