Exhausted!

I realized today that I hadn't written since August 31 and now September is almost gone! I have no excuse but I'm exhausted and when I get home from work I just want to relax, which I'm not very good at. But this last month I have really been in need of that. I have been worse in my Sjogren's probably a relapse. But as you know I'm not the one staying at home on sick leave so I have worked although not feeling on top. I have a great work where there is room for flexibility so if I'm very ill one day I can stay at home and rest and then work that extra when I feel better. Not everyone has so understanding work. It has happened so much since last and I can't write it all because then you would fall asleep ;-) I try to write as much as I can on Facebook and also place photos. Long story short: September 5-7 Conference with the board of the Rheumatic association. At sea to Helsinki, Finland. Good conference with great ideas and what a great team we ar...

Lunch with friends

My friends Rubina, Annika and me Yesterday I had lunch with three good friends. All of them friends from the Rheumatic association. We met at Ingvor's place, a wonderful house, in beautiful summer weather. I came earlier so that we two could plan our road trip next week to Helsingborg. After a while came Annika who is the chair woman in our association in Stockholm. Me, Annika and Ingvor is part of our working committe in the association in Stockholm. We are 4 in the committee but one couldn't come because she's on holiday. It was so nice to sit down and talk, laugh and just relax together. After a while our friend Rubina joined us. She had been cooking the meal which was Indian (or maybe Pakistan) dishes. I don't know the name of things but I think one was called Dahl (or something like that). Good but very spicy. I had made Västerbotten pie and a big salat with feta cheese, avocado, salat, tomatoes, cucumber and more... And to that I had made a vinagraitt...

Birthday week with BBQ

This week was Emil's birthday. He turned 26 and is my youngest!! How can I have a son of 26 and he's the youngest? It's quite hard to take in that it was 26 years ago. He was my easiest one to deliver :-) It took just over 4 hours from the first contraction until he was out. It was the day of the Eurovision Final and I remember Johnny Logan won. Amongst others were Gente di Mare and Israel's Huppa Hulle Hulle hulle. The day was just beautiful with sunshine (although they had predicted rain) and a temperature around + 25 :-) Long time since that happened. Anyway we had BBQ and each of us did our own skewer. We had fillet of pig and beef, sausages spicy and not so spicy, corn, tomatoes, red onions, mushroms and meatballs. To that I served fresh dill boiled potatoes and a wonderful sallat with avocado, feta cheese, sallat, cucumbers, tomatoes and onions. It was truly a feast. Jonas and Mandy also came and we had a great time together :-) I have also been on ...

They are home in time for Christmas - H.E.A.T

The guys when in Gothenburg recording but here they are in a store :-) On Wednesday the guys came home again after 5 weeks recording in the studio. The result is amazing says Jona but I haven't heard it yet, maybe on Christmas. Well, the recording is finished but now the mixing and mastering takes place and the release won't be until sometimes next year, maybe March. I'm so curious as I suppose all of you are too. I think we are in for a real treat with this one!   Jona laying keys, you can see his fingers ;-) The one by the computer is Crash Apart from that we had Christmas party at the Rheumatic association Stockholm district on Wednesday. Very nice. We served glögg, of course, with gingerbread cookies, Santa-porridge, ham, Christmas-cheese, bread, coffee with safronbuns and of course a "gottisbord" (candytable-it's not really a table but a big bowl of candies which you associate with Christmas like fudge, chocolate and much much more) We also had a man...

New homepage (work) I forgot....?

Our new homepage to my work: http://www.elspargruppen.se/ Not quite ready but beautiful. And if you want to have a future job in an expanding business don't hesitate to be an energy expert. We have your education! We have board-meeting tomorrow with the Rheumatic association and I had forgotten to send out the agenda which I am supposed to do. The secretary called me while I was in Norrtälje asking me if I had sent it out and I just said: shit. Yes I actually said that. But I have wrote the agenda since I came home and also sent it out but I will bring it tomorrow to the meeting as well if they haven't seen it. Could it be Alzheimer light? Or do you think I have to much on my mind? Anyway I had a wonderful time in Norrtälje with the best Chantarellesoup of the year I think. Great stuff. Afterwards back to the clinic for some treatments which actually made me fall half asleep so maybe too much for me now. And also a fullmoon which doesn't help. After that I went to Flygfyren...

Just an ordinary Thursday

This Thursday started out with lots of snowing in the morning which gradually swifted to rain. I have just been out with Hilma for her latenightwalk and it was really pouring down. Otherwise kind of calm day. I went to the Rheumatic assocation where we packed the last dispatch for 2009. In this we included the program for the rest of the year and the start of 2010. Also invitation to the Christmas-party on December 12 and, very early, the invitation to come with us to Jurmala Spa in Latvia in May/June. We are inviting this early to give our members a chance to save up for the trip since it cost a bit of money. But on the other hand we get a lot for that money including 2 treatments a day. As usual I sat down to watch "A place in the sun" at 5.50PM and as usual I fell asleep and woke up at 7 :-) Now I'm still tired so it shouldn't be a problem sleeping (I hope). Tomorrow it's Friday and time for "fredagsmys" and Idol. Looking forward to that. Have a good ...
