H.E.A.T concert and family lunch

H.E.A.t ON STAGE. Photo: Pär Altan Having dinner at O'Learys And another one. We had a room to ourselves :-) Saturday me and Hasse went to a rock concert at Tyrol, Gröna Lund, which of course featured H.E.A.T. Reading the menu We were 15 or 16 family members from the families which had dinner together before the gig. A very nice time and a chance to catch up since we haven't seen each other for a long time. That is all together I mean. H.E.A.T and public. Photo Pär Altan After dinner we went to Tyrol and I bought a T-shirt for Hasse (it was really for me but he liked it so much I gave it to him). The show started and what a show it was! They really gave their all and many of the songs from the new album "Tearing down the walls" was in the set. I love them! They should really play an arena with  20 000 when they sing Tearing down the walls. What an anthem that is! Photo: Pär Altan They also seemed to have real fun up there both together...

Annual meeting and lunch with friends

My friends Ingvor and Annika (also members of the Rheumatic board, Annika as chairwoman)   Yesterday we, that is the Rheumatic association in Stockholm, had our annual meeting and I'm happy to report it all went well. I was re-elected treasurer for 2 years so I have obviously done something right ;-) Today we had lunch, that is the former working committe since one member will be be continue in the committee. We had a lovely lunch with lots of good food, chat and even some laughter. Tomorrow I'm going to take blood tests and also have my usual shot :-) Here are some photos from my work. My wonderful computer and myself with lots of covers.       My computer :-)                Me                                      I have to share this with you. H.E.A.T is going on a European tour with their new album Tearing down ...

I can now reveal...

the lunch I served at work today :-)  For starter I served a cold avocado soup with shrimps Main course was my favorite Lasagne served with salat and for the grand desert I had made a "julgodisbord" kind of Christmas candy table which consisted of toscacookies coated with chocolate, peppermintpastilles, Christmas toffée, fudge, candy cane and much more. Almost everything made by me (expect for the fudge and candy cane) We are normally 6-10 people but today we were 13!! and I wasn't prepared for that but luckily I always do too much so I had for everyone. It was harder with plates and chairs but as we say in Sweden if there is place for hearts there are also place for bottoms. Sounds better in Swedish actually :-) I also saw my doctor today about my head and he said it was a nasty big bump I had but not much to do but rest and it will hopefully go away soon. If I get worse I have to go to the ER he said so I hope not. I hope you all had a good Monday. I know I did a...

They are home in time for Christmas - H.E.A.T

The guys when in Gothenburg recording but here they are in a store :-) On Wednesday the guys came home again after 5 weeks recording in the studio. The result is amazing says Jona but I haven't heard it yet, maybe on Christmas. Well, the recording is finished but now the mixing and mastering takes place and the release won't be until sometimes next year, maybe March. I'm so curious as I suppose all of you are too. I think we are in for a real treat with this one!   Jona laying keys, you can see his fingers ;-) The one by the computer is Crash Apart from that we had Christmas party at the Rheumatic association Stockholm district on Wednesday. Very nice. We served glögg, of course, with gingerbread cookies, Santa-porridge, ham, Christmas-cheese, bread, coffee with safronbuns and of course a "gottisbord" (candytable-it's not really a table but a big bowl of candies which you associate with Christmas like fudge, chocolate and much much more) We also had a man...

Monday - Saturday ?!

Norrtälje in wintertime. Beautiful isn't it? I wrote on Monday and now it's Saturday! What happened in between? This work to be out of work is really exhausting because I really try to find a job and that takes time and effort. On Tuesday I was supposed to go to my medical central and take bloodtest before I see my Dr next week but instead I stayed at home writing applications for 2 jobs and also placed my CV on several recruiting companies. That took almost all Tuesday. On Wednesday I went to my friend Anne in Norrtälje and we had a delic chantarellesoup, lots of chat, I had some wonderful treatment, zone therapy and that always relaxes me to the extent that I almost always falls asleep or if not asleep very very close. After that we went shopping at Flygfyren which is one of the best stores I know. It was a bit hard driving because it was very icy on Wednesday. The weather has changed and it's no longer that extreme cold we have had and when it changes it has a ...
