Monday - Saturday ?!

Norrtälje in wintertime. Beautiful isn't it?
I wrote on Monday and now it's Saturday! What happened in between? This work to be out of work is really exhausting because I really try to find a job and that takes time and effort.

On Tuesday I was supposed to go to my medical central and take bloodtest before I see my Dr next week but instead I stayed at home writing applications for 2 jobs and also placed my CV on several recruiting companies.
That took almost all Tuesday.

On Wednesday I went to my friend Anne in Norrtälje and we had a delic chantarellesoup, lots of chat, I had some wonderful treatment, zone therapy and that always relaxes me to the extent that I almost always falls asleep or if not asleep very very close. After that we went shopping at Flygfyren which is one of the best stores I know.
It was a bit hard driving because it was very icy on Wednesday. The weather has changed and it's no longer that extreme cold we have had and when it changes it has a tendency to be more icy. But I made it home in one piece :-)

On Thursday I finally went for the bloodtests and also for my B12 shot. I will have the results next week.
In the afternoon I went to a friend from the Rheumatic association. We are a group women that have formed a study circle in order to learn about astrology. Very interesting. We know each other very well and our teacher is excellent. She has studied astrology for 25 years so we are in good hands.

Yesterday I went to my former work, the latest one I had, and collected all my stuff that was still there. Richard also treated me with lunch at Rosersberg castle as a way for him to thank me. It was such a delicious lunch and we had a long good chat. No hard feelings between us. He also wrote me a great reference.
After that I went directly to my friend Inger for a cup of coffe and a good chat. Her daughter, my "granddaughter" is in Australia and will stay for 5 months. So very empty for Inger I think although today there are so many ways to keep in touch.

Since H.E.A.T is still in the recording studio for maybe one week more and I don't have anything to share yet I would like to share another video with you. It's Jonas friend from school, Anna or as she calls herself now Birgit Bidder, and a performance she did at Cirkus here in Stockholm with the song Heatwave. I think it's a great performance. You judge for yourself. HEATWAVE

I will of course share H.E.AT's new songs as soon as I have them :-)

Talk to you soon and  remember that problems look you up but opportunities you have to look for yourself.

Oh my God

The Christmas smorgasbord I just realized I haven't written anything since November 23! But I can tell you I haven't been lazy but there has been so much going on that I haven't had the strength to write. I had meetings that week and I was supposed to be at a conference hotel for lunch that Friday but I was to tired I had to cancel it. So instead I baked safron buns (!) and made chocolate troufles with ginger.  The ferry On December 1 it was Staffan's birthday (Hasse's oldest son) and I worked and worked at my job. Thursday I and Hasse were supposed to go to the theatre and see Come again Charlie, which was one of my birthday presents - thank you Pär and Brita. But Hasse wasn't feeling well so instead I asked Linnea, my bonus grand daughter if she wanted to go and she was very happy that I asked. We had a really good time and the play, which was a comedy, was funny but also with a message which made you laugh and then stop. It was about the si...

Sad day

Tonight Olle, my adoptive father that has been like my father almost all my life, died just before 9PM. It was very quick. I talked to the nurse at 6PM and everything was calm then. Just a bit over 2 hours later she called and said he's gotten worse. I asked how and she said his skin changed colour and that he could have 10 minutes or 10 hours left. I was just trying to get to my sister on the phone and ask her if we should go down when the phone rang again just 15 minutes afterwards and it was the nurse telling me that it was over. He went very peacefully and in his sleep. At the end he was given a lot of morphine so he wouldn't be in pain, which he wasn't. I called my sister but we both felt that we already had said our goodbyes and therefore didn't go down to say a last goodbye. He is probably up there somewhere looking down and sensing our feelings. We haven't been able to reach our mother yet and we probably won't tonight so I will tell her when I go there ...

Anyone??

I wonder if anyone can see and read my blogg? I haven't had any comments in so long that's why I ask. Erik didn't win a Grammy last night but he had a blast and he and his fiancé looked just great! Another Swede, Ludwig Göransson, won 3 prices though. Congrats to him.
