Spamalot and very hot

On Saturday my celebration continued with going to the theatre with my sister Helen and her kids Bianca and Toni. We saw Spamalot which is a musical built from Monthy Pythons film Monty Python and the holy Grail.
It's so funny and has great songs. I did see it in Malmö last autumn but this time it was a different cast and the leading lady is played by a friend Nina Söderquist.
She played the role in London after winning a TV-competition here in Sweden where the price was to get the role as Lady of the Lake. When I was in Malmö she was on maternity leave and it was another one playing that role. Very good but not the same as Nina.
She did a marvellous job and I can't imagine anyone else now doing that role.
Afterwards we met up with her to chat for a while before the next show - yes, they do two on Saturdays.
Bianca, Nina, me and Toni
As you can see from the photo she's still with make-up. I had bought champagne in a nice package with a card and also made a big photo of her the last time we saw her. She really seemed to appreciate it and asked me about H.E.A.T and what they are doing now.

After that it was time for dinner. I had made reservations at a nearby restaurant where we had a great meal. Back home again after a very nice day.

Monday-Wednesday nothing much just work.

But yesterday I went to my old work at the Rescue and Services college Rosersberg which is no more. Now it's Tre Rosor restaurang and conference. Me and two of my friends from the Rheumatic association went there for lunch and planning. It's here we are going to celebrate the 40th jubilee next year.
Anna and Lasse treated us with lunch and showed us around and of course I saw old friends in the dining room. I think it will be great. I won't write that much because a lot of it is going to be a surprise.
Tomorrow I'm going to see my Mom and then have lunch with Danniel. That's very nice.
Sunday I will spend cooking for my co-workers because it's my turn on Monday. Did I mention I won the last round :-) Then next week is full of activities.
Wednesday - boardmeeting
Thursday - conference
Friday - massage at work, check-in at the hotel, Opera at night
Saturday - hotel breakfast, the National Museum with champagne and lunch, in the evening dinner at the hotel
Sunday - a good sleep-in before eating hotel breakfast and then in the afternoon home again.

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
