New job and Freedom rock release

This week so far has been very exciting to say the least. On Tuesday I had a second interview with the architectfirm I saw a month ago. This time with the full board. When I later that evening looked at my mail I had received an offer of employment which I accepted. I'm very excited about this job. It's being administrator with this small architectfirm, 10 employers, and to basically fix everything. I start week 21 so pretty soon. The other thing this week was the release of H.E.A.T's new CD Freedom Rock, yesterday. The day started at Swedish TV4 in their morningshow where they did an interview and performed two songs. Interview (in Swedish though but a good opportunity to see if you understand anything ;-). BEG BEG BEG live och We're gonna make it to the end . Enjoy!! In the afternoon they went to a big recordstore, Bengans skivbutik, in the middle of Stockholm where they played live, signed and sold CD's. Photos thanks to Pär Altan. Tomorrow I'm going...

Once again......

The view from my window at hotel Savoy Yes, I am still alive although extremely exhausted. I haven't had time even to write my blogs which I usually love doing. So much has happened and I can't write about it all here in my blog because some things are very sensitive and involv other people. I have been to one interview during this time as choirassistent at the Cathedral in Uppsala. I haven't hear anything from them yet. The job is to look after up to 90 choirmembers, boys and girls in ages from 8 to 22. Almost never all 90 at the same time but often 50. See to it that they behave and especially during intermission. Also see to it that the required notes is in place, look after the rehearsalroom but also ordinary administrative tasks like booking tickets, hotels, concerts, pay bills, keep contact with parents and choirs in other countries. Accompanie on their tours. It could be really interesting but as I said I have to wait now for a couple of weeks before I know. An...

Here we go again..

Yes, it's Monday and the weekend just dissapeared in some sort of blurr. I don't think we did anything special apart from me visiting my Mom and Danniel yesterday which was very nice. Today I have been to a jobinterview in Uppsala at the Cathedral. You can never guess the position I have applied for, can you? As a choir assistant. Yes, that's right. You know I love music, all kinds of music from opera to hardrock. This job involves being an assistant to the conductor of the boy- and girlchoirs ages 8-22. Help her out with all sorts of things including among other booking travels, concerts, paying bills, be there at the recesses and during choir practice. I think it sounds really interesting and combines a lot of things I'm good at. Now I just have to wait and see. I'm also awaiting an answer from the architectfirm where I was last week on an interview. So lots of things going on workwise and hopefully I will soon have a new job :-) Meanwhile my days afer fille...

H.E.A.T on tour and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Marvin

Today H.E.A.T started their European tour together with the Poodles and Treat. The tour is called Sweden Rocks Europe tour 2010. Due to the Islandic vulcano and the ashcloud they didn't want to wait too long and maybe not be able to be there at all so today they started the tour by bus. They are going to Madrid where the first concert is on Friday. Saturday in Pamplona and Sunday in Barcelona. My niece Sonia, her fiance Eric, Aida and her boyfriend Nacho Losada are going to see them in Barcelona. I'm so envious of them to see H.E.A.T but also that Jonas, once again, get to meet our relatives who I have never met. Well, not envious because I think it's great but I would have loved to be there too. My bonusdaughter Gunilla, her boyfriend Per and Klara were supposed to go to Barcelona to see Zlatan play at Camp Neu but now with all the uncertainty they decided to cancel. My bonusgrandchild Linnea is supposed to go to Turkey to work as activity leader for Ving in Alanya...

Recap

OK, I didn't write for a week but you didn't have to be that sour blog so you removed my bloglist of friends! This week started out with me and my friend Inger went to see flats for her daughter who is in Australia at the moment. We saw 3 apartments, 2 rooms with kitchen and we absolutely fell in love with the first one. A big, big balcony, a big bedroom, fresh bathroom, big livingroom and a kitchen/diner. The other two wasn't any good so Inger decided to bid on the first one. On Friday she won the bidding and her daughter has a very nice flat. Tuesday I went to Södertälje Rheumatic association where we had a wonderful 3-course lunch, were taught about makin jewellery of stones and also got to try paint on silk. All in all a wonderful day. Wednesday I met with a former workcollegue from SRSA for lunch and update of what's happened to everyone. She just received new that she has got a new job - as night portier at Scandic Infra city. Congrats Lotta. Thursday eveni...
