Here we go again..

Yes, it's Monday and the weekend just dissapeared in some sort of blurr. I don't think we did anything special apart from me visiting my Mom and Danniel yesterday which was very nice.

Today I have been to a jobinterview in Uppsala at the Cathedral. You can never guess the position I have applied for, can you? As a choir assistant. Yes, that's right. You know I love music, all kinds of music from opera to hardrock. This job involves being an assistant to the conductor of the boy- and girlchoirs ages 8-22.
Help her out with all sorts of things including among other booking travels, concerts, paying bills, be there at the recesses and during choir practice. I think it sounds really interesting and combines a lot of things I'm good at. Now I just have to wait and see.
I'm also awaiting an answer from the architectfirm where I was last week on an interview. So lots of things going on workwise and hopefully I will soon have a new job :-)

Meanwhile my days afer filled with things, as you who read my blog know. Tomorrow for instance I'm going on a lecture with the Rheumatic association on Thermo Sense and Fibromassage.

On Wednesday I'm going to Norrtälje to see my friend Anne for some lunch and treatment. It's been a long time since last and I'm really looking forward to that.

Thursday it's boardmeeting time with the Rheumatic association.

Today I received H.E.A.T's CD Freedom Rock from Japan (!) Yes, I know, why buy from Japan? Well, here in Sweden it's not release until May 12 so that's why. I love the booklet and the photos of the guys are stunning.
I love the fact that the lyrics are included. If you get a chance, BUY IT!

Another thing, the H.E.A.T street team leader of Germany, Anke, has started a Facebook group called:
H.E.A.T FAMILY ALL OVER THE WORLD Her purpose with it was to have 1000 members when Freedom rock releases in Europe but now she wants us all in the family to ask our friends to join to get to 1000 before Wednesday when they guys will play in her hometown. She wants to surprise them. Help her with that.
An example of how the H.E.A.T family works was this weekend when one of the members was robbed of his wallet and asked for help. All money, creditcard, tickets were gone. Immediately members started to help both them in Barcelona (where this took place) but also everywhere and of course the guys in H.E.A.T.
With combined forces from friends, familymembers and H.E.A.T he can now continue touring with them.
I'm so proud to be a member and that everybody cares of one another. Join you too and become a member.

Anyone??

I wonder if anyone can see and read my blogg? I haven't had any comments in so long that's why I ask. Erik didn't win a Grammy last night but he had a blast and he and his fiancé looked just great! Another Swede, Ludwig Göransson, won 3 prices though. Congrats to him.

Hello December

This month started with a tax education, yeah :-) in Uppsala. Since we don't have a goverment yet due to the chaotic political scene after the election, no one actually knows what's going to happen with taxes. It's just guesses. The day after we had Christmas celebration at the Rheumatic district of Stockholm. It was a lot of fun, good food and nice to meet everyone :-) And on Saturday it was time for Christmas lunch with my own Rheumatic local association. We were around 30 members incl. Eddie and Mandy. We had a lot of good food and we had the party at a local hotel here in Väsby in Bredden. There were two other children there so I bought them each a Christmas gift and they were very happy for what they got from the Rheumatic Santa Claus. Me decorating a board member with a honoray sign Eddie and the palm tree Some of the Christmas bord I haven't been feeling well for a couple of months. I have had fever now and then, headache, runny nose, ey...

Friends, musical and sick

On Saturday we had our good friends over for lunch. Since she doesn't eat gluten I made Swedish hamburgers glutenfree which means I didn't have any breadcrumbs in it but instead egg and cream and of course seasoning. They were delicious. I served roasted sweet potatoe and Jerusalem artichoke to that and also a gorgeous sallad, if I may say so myself. For dessert and coffee I made a Pavlova but also included crusched Daim (a good chocolate). We sat for several hours talking about what had been going on, how we were and how our children and grandchildren are. Because of their illness we haven't been able to meet so much this year so we had a lot of catching up to do. It's so nice with good friends. You don't have to say that much, nor explain because we understand. We have been friends now for 34 years so a very long time. We also laugh a lot when we meet. All in all a wonderful afternoon. Work as usual Monday. On Tuesday I started feeling "funny...
