Recap

OK, I didn't write for a week but you didn't have to be that sour blog so you removed my bloglist of friends!
This week started out with me and my friend Inger went to see flats for her daughter who is in Australia at the moment. We saw 3 apartments, 2 rooms with kitchen and we absolutely fell in love with the first one. A big, big balcony, a big bedroom, fresh bathroom, big livingroom and a kitchen/diner. The other two wasn't any good so Inger decided to bid on the first one. On Friday she won the bidding and her daughter has a very nice flat.

Tuesday I went to Södertälje Rheumatic association where we had a wonderful 3-course lunch, were taught about makin jewellery of stones and also got to try paint on silk. All in all a wonderful day.
Wednesday I met with a former workcollegue from SRSA for lunch and update of what's happened to everyone. She just received new that she has got a new job - as night portier at Scandic Infra city. Congrats Lotta.

Thursday evening I was on an information meeting for the fair we are going to participate in on May 8 in Väsby centrum. This is of course with the Rheumatic association.

Friday I was in the mall and fetched some keys for our premises.

Then yesterday the big event of the week! Jonas 25th birthday. We were invited to his flat to celebrate him. Me, Hasse and Emil went and I had bought a new coffeemaker and a toast and it was the Rolls Royce of toast and coffeemaker and in rock'n roll colours red and black of course. He was very happy with them.
We immediately wanted to try the new coffeemaker so me and Mandy went and bought some coffee. While in the shop I also bought them dinner - a nice steak, potatoegratin, bearnaise sauce and sallat. In the evening they had a big party - 50 year party since Dave's girlfriend also turned 25 earlier this week.

Myself I went to the opera last night where I saw, together with my friend Carina, Le nozze di Figaro by Mozart or Figaro's wedding. I love it, the music is so nice, the singers were great and all in all a beautiful end to the day.

Today I have visited my Mom. I had bought her candy, as usual, and buns for coffee which we had together but I first ate a salat because I didn't have time to eat that before. We chatted a lot but it's so hard to follow her meaning but lots of laughter and it's nice to see her.

After that I went to Sofie for birthday coffee without the birthday"child". The first one who met me was Minna (Johanna's daughter, Mandys sister) with a big great smile. She's so cute and adorable. Then Sofie came and we had coffee and a homemade cake. Very good. I then gave Mandy lift to her father.

Tomorrow I'm going on a job interview. It's an architect office that approached me about a job after seeing my CV on the internet. They need someone to look after them and the office since the one they have is retiring. Keep your fingers crossed for med.

Another interesting news is that H.E.A.T will be headlining Firefest in October. It's their 3d time in a row. Good job guys.

Oh my God

The Christmas smorgasbord I just realized I haven't written anything since November 23! But I can tell you I haven't been lazy but there has been so much going on that I haven't had the strength to write. I had meetings that week and I was supposed to be at a conference hotel for lunch that Friday but I was to tired I had to cancel it. So instead I baked safron buns (!) and made chocolate troufles with ginger.  The ferry On December 1 it was Staffan's birthday (Hasse's oldest son) and I worked and worked at my job. Thursday I and Hasse were supposed to go to the theatre and see Come again Charlie, which was one of my birthday presents - thank you Pär and Brita. But Hasse wasn't feeling well so instead I asked Linnea, my bonus grand daughter if she wanted to go and she was very happy that I asked. We had a really good time and the play, which was a comedy, was funny but also with a message which made you laugh and then stop. It was about the si...

Sad day

Tonight Olle, my adoptive father that has been like my father almost all my life, died just before 9PM. It was very quick. I talked to the nurse at 6PM and everything was calm then. Just a bit over 2 hours later she called and said he's gotten worse. I asked how and she said his skin changed colour and that he could have 10 minutes or 10 hours left. I was just trying to get to my sister on the phone and ask her if we should go down when the phone rang again just 15 minutes afterwards and it was the nurse telling me that it was over. He went very peacefully and in his sleep. At the end he was given a lot of morphine so he wouldn't be in pain, which he wasn't. I called my sister but we both felt that we already had said our goodbyes and therefore didn't go down to say a last goodbye. He is probably up there somewhere looking down and sensing our feelings. We haven't been able to reach our mother yet and we probably won't tonight so I will tell her when I go there ...

Anyone??

I wonder if anyone can see and read my blogg? I haven't had any comments in so long that's why I ask. Erik didn't win a Grammy last night but he had a blast and he and his fiancé looked just great! Another Swede, Ludwig Göransson, won 3 prices though. Congrats to him.
