H.E.A.T's releaseparty is to take place on April 23 on Nalen club Alcazar in Stockholm. Be there! They will be selling the CD and shirts and play some songs live. Free entrance so there's no excuse not to be there. Except for me who will be in La Mirada, CA so I won't be there. Tonight the band is in Karlstad playing at Nojesfabriken. I'm sure it will be a success. How can it be anything else with that wonderful music they're playing. I have read a few reviews of the CD that have been totally sold on it and their music. I also read a review from a gig they did in Umea earlier this year. He said their songs are so good on record and that they play live just as well, but he thought they should be styled. What do you think? Look at the photo of them or rather go and see them and judge for yourself. Really it's their music that should be judged and their love of playing and of music. I just realized I'm going in a few days time and I have a lot to pack. Well, it's not until Wednesday morning at 7AM but on Saturday we are going to celebrate both H and T as well as I and K's 30th relationship so nothing much will be done then. And on Sunday I will be tired I think ;-). Then on Monday and Tuesday I'm off to my course again. It will be nice to meet everyone again. We have been keeping contact via mail. I think that is a wonderful invention really. I know that I have made some small errors on the assignment but I did pass so I might still become a licensed account economist. One other thing is that I looked at the weather forecast for LA and it's 26-30C and I really need some more summer clothes. Since we still have snow, rain and cold it's a big contrast to come to that warm temperature and sunshine. I have over winter lost quite a few kilos and dropped 3 sizes so many of my summer clothes are too big. Well, it's better that way than the oth...

Today is birthday to many. First of all my husband H - Happy birthday to you. Then our "grandchild" T turns 7 today - Happy birthday to you. And finally it's also my very good friend A's birthday - Happy birthday to you. We had both J and E over for dinner and since it's H's birthday it's his choice of food and of course he wanted his favourite food which is meatloaf with mashed potatoes and vegetables. It's a tradition in our family that the "birthdaychild" gets to choose dinner and I make it :-). It was nice to see them both and to hear about J's gig at Aland this weekend. I can't believe it's Saturday again. Yesterday was Monday I thought. This week was shorter because it was the day after Easter so we were free from work an extra day which was nice. Also I got my salary but that just comes in and out just as fast. I had a talk with my boss today about getting a raise and I got that. 1000 SEK a month. That's good I think. It's nice to be acknowledge for the work you do and especially now in our situation when not knowing anything. There has been several TV-shows, locally, about SRSA College of Rosersberg and the closing. NOW there are reactions that should have come a year ago. Members of Parliement and the Fire Chief of Stockholm has been talking as well as our Chief of school. It's good that something happens. We have to wait and see what comes out of that. On Good Friday our boys J and E came for dinner. We had really planned to have it on Saturday but since J and H.E.A.T had a gig in Eskilstuna yesterday night we had to have it earlier. We had a very nice time with good food, drink and chat. So H and I was expecting to sit all alone on Easter evening but then S called and said our grandson Hk was to play icehockey in the Globe (he's very good and has been in the Swedish junior crownteam). So he and O (our other grandson) came and H went with them. Meanwhile I made a Easter buffet with lots of different dishes. Egg being the most important :-). Suddenly when I was at it there was a ring on the door and IP with our two "grandchildren" To and Ta came for a visit. IP brought some wonderful roses and daffodils and To had made with his own hands for me a house and for H a footrest. They are so adorable.
