Happy Easter

On Good Friday our boys J and E came for dinner. We had really planned to have it on Saturday but since J and H.E.A.T had a gig in Eskilstuna yesterday night we had to have it earlier. We had a very nice time with good food, drink and chat.
So H and I was expecting to sit all alone on Easter evening but then S called and said our grandson Hk was to play icehockey in the Globe (he's very good and has been in the Swedish junior crownteam). So he and O (our other grandson) came and H went with them. Meanwhile I made a Easter buffet with lots of different dishes.
Egg being the most important :-).
Suddenly when I was at it there was a ring on the door and IP with our two "grandchildren" To and Ta came for a visit. IP brought some wonderful roses and daffodils and To had made with his own hands for me a house and for H a footrest. They are so adorable.
Hk team won and have played a match today too so S and O decided to stay overnight with us. Very nice, we are so glad to have them. I mean now when J and E has moved out we do have the space.
I went early to visit Mom and O at the shorttime home but before that I went by their house to check on things and to collect some clothes for O. I didn't find any so I stopped by the store and bought him a lot of things. While there I called D to ask if he wanted to go with me to see Grandma and Grandpa and he did.
So we went down there fully loaded with clothes both for Mom and O, magazines, candy and chocolate and a pie for them to feast on with their coffee.
I feel awful seeing them. Mom doesn't make much sense and she's constantly nagging about wanting her home key which I have. She hasn't any need for them when she's at the home but neither me nor my sis H has any so for us to be able to go in and check the house we need at least one. O has gained some weight which is good. He doesn't look like dying now but his foot! The gangrane has gone a bit up the leg now and the smell is just awful. I had to open the window because of the smell. My sis H yesterday brought a video from when we were small. Mom used to take these 8 mm film of us all and we have transferred them to a VHS-tape. Me, O, Mom and D watched that this afternoon and it was so funny and a lots of, Do you remember, Where is that? Is that me? How old were you there? flow over the room. D especially seemed to enjoy watching himself as a toddler. So all in all a lovely afternoon.
When I returned home E was at home wondering where everyone was. So we sat down and had a good talk before the others returned from the Globe. Today they lost the match.
S and O returns home to pack and on Tuesday they're off to Florida to see a hockey match with a Swedish player from Gavle and also visit one of S's old friends.
Tomorrow I hope we will have a nice relaxed day before work on Tuesday.
The gig in Eskilstuna with H.E.A.T went well of course and this coming week their record will be pressed. Can't wait.... but I don't know relase date yet.

Happy moment of today was to watch those old movies from when we were young and had no troubles at all. Those were the days.

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
