Here we go again..

Yes, it's Monday and the weekend just dissapeared in some sort of blurr. I don't think we did anything special apart from me visiting my Mom and Danniel yesterday which was very nice. Today I have been to a jobinterview in Uppsala at the Cathedral. You can never guess the position I have applied for, can you? As a choir assistant. Yes, that's right. You know I love music, all kinds of music from opera to hardrock. This job involves being an assistant to the conductor of the boy- and girlchoirs ages 8-22. Help her out with all sorts of things including among other booking travels, concerts, paying bills, be there at the recesses and during choir practice. I think it sounds really interesting and combines a lot of things I'm good at. Now I just have to wait and see. I'm also awaiting an answer from the architectfirm where I was last week on an interview. So lots of things going on workwise and hopefully I will soon have a new job :-) Meanwhile my days afer fille...

H.E.A.T on tour and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Marvin

Today H.E.A.T started their European tour together with the Poodles and Treat. The tour is called Sweden Rocks Europe tour 2010. Due to the Islandic vulcano and the ashcloud they didn't want to wait too long and maybe not be able to be there at all so today they started the tour by bus. They are going to Madrid where the first concert is on Friday. Saturday in Pamplona and Sunday in Barcelona. My niece Sonia, her fiance Eric, Aida and her boyfriend Nacho Losada are going to see them in Barcelona. I'm so envious of them to see H.E.A.T but also that Jonas, once again, get to meet our relatives who I have never met. Well, not envious because I think it's great but I would have loved to be there too. My bonusdaughter Gunilla, her boyfriend Per and Klara were supposed to go to Barcelona to see Zlatan play at Camp Neu but now with all the uncertainty they decided to cancel. My bonusgrandchild Linnea is supposed to go to Turkey to work as activity leader for Ving in Alanya...

Recap

OK, I didn't write for a week but you didn't have to be that sour blog so you removed my bloglist of friends! This week started out with me and my friend Inger went to see flats for her daughter who is in Australia at the moment. We saw 3 apartments, 2 rooms with kitchen and we absolutely fell in love with the first one. A big, big balcony, a big bedroom, fresh bathroom, big livingroom and a kitchen/diner. The other two wasn't any good so Inger decided to bid on the first one. On Friday she won the bidding and her daughter has a very nice flat. Tuesday I went to Södertälje Rheumatic association where we had a wonderful 3-course lunch, were taught about makin jewellery of stones and also got to try paint on silk. All in all a wonderful day. Wednesday I met with a former workcollegue from SRSA for lunch and update of what's happened to everyone. She just received new that she has got a new job - as night portier at Scandic Infra city. Congrats Lotta. Thursday eveni...

Sweden Rock cruise

Jona, Polina and Daz I'm back home from Sweden Rock cruise and I had a great time :-)  Me and Pär (Eric's Dad) We embarked the ship and I was actually the first one onboard said the security later that night. After installing in the cabin we went for dinner. I had booked for 2 but we ended up being 6 which was very nice. We knew a lot of people because parents, siblings, in-laws, cousins, aunts, girlfriends etc etc was onboard. Great fun to see everyone again. Especially the fans from England, Norway and Russia. Shortly after dinner it was time to go to the Starlight where the show was to be. While waiting we drank drinks and for the first time in my life I had vodka and Red Bull. It tasted so good, not at all like it was alcohol in it ;-) Dangerous things. I believe it was that which kept me up until 4 - 1/2 5 in the morning. Not like me at all but we had so much fun. When the security sealed off all the public places we ended up in cabins partying :-) or in the corrido...

Mother's 86th birthday and Happy Easter

I know, I have been so bad in writing this week but as usual full speed ahead and to tell you the truth I also have a blog in Swedish which takes a bit of my time too. Anyway I felt it was time to fill you in what has happened. Today me, Helen, Bianca and Danniel have celebrated mother's 86th birthday. We took her on a tour with ferry on Lake Malaren and then to a restaurant that litteraly was on the water. Mother loves water and has talked a lot about going on a cruise. She is not able to obviously but this was the closest thing to it. The restaurant Jungfrusund was very nice, the food excellent and I can certainly recommend it if you are in the neighbourhood. After a long lunch when mother also had her presents, a necklace and a perfume (but she seemed most happy about the wrapping paper) we headed home with her but first we went to the house where she used to live. She really appreciated it even though she didn't remember it properly. We saw the first "tussilago...
