I know, I have been so bad in writing this week but as usual full speed ahead and to tell you the truth I also have a blog in Swedish which takes a bit of my time too.
Anyway I felt it was time to fill you in what has happened. Today me, Helen, Bianca and Danniel have celebrated mother's 86th birthday. We took her on a tour with ferry on Lake Malaren and then to a restaurant that litteraly was on the water. Mother loves water and has talked a lot about going on a cruise. She is not able to obviously but this was the closest thing to it. The restaurant Jungfrusund was very nice, the food excellent and I can certainly recommend it if you are in the neighbourhood. After a long lunch when mother also had her presents, a necklace and a perfume (but she seemed most happy about the wrapping paper) we headed home with her but first we went to the house where she used to live. She really appreciated it even though she didn't remember it properly.
We saw the first "tussilago" which is a certain proof of spring coming.A single tussilago in a single spot.
On Wednesday I went to see my coach in Norrtälje and we discussed mainly an interview I was to go to later in the afternoon. A man had seen my CV on the internet and called me up for an interview. I went there but I don't think this was for me. I think what they needed is a skilled controller and that I am not.
Below you see Mom in the car on the ferry
Mom is happy with the presents
Tomorrow Staffan is coming over and we will have lunch I think. On Sunday Jonas, Mandy, Emil and Danniel are coming for Easterlinner which will be very nice. I haven't figure out what we will eat but I'm sure I will ;-)
Now I'm really tired and have to rest for a while. My back is killing me. I woke up with a bad backache this morning and it's still there despite taking painkillers. This could last for a couple of day or weeks.
See you tomorrow but if I don't I want to wish you all a very HAPPY EASTER
It seems like you all had a lovely time, but I'm sorry to hear your back is hurting. I hope you feel all better now.
SvaraRaderaBesos,
Jo
