Tomorrow is the big day - Hagapark Day

This last week has been filled with last preparations for the Hagapark Day which will culminate tomorrow. But the week started very bad :-( On Monday I woke up and couldn't walk!! Yes, litteraly. I had so much pain in my pelvis that I couldn't lift my feet and make them walk. But of course I did went to work and held in everything I could get hold on to get some support. But at last they sent me home. I had a bit of panic. I had to be able to walk tomorrow! So I took a big dose of cortisone and booked an appointment with my doctor the next morning. And yes I did stay home from work on Tuesday. The doctor prescribed strong double painkillers, continue the cortisone but then reduce it gradually. Of course it was inflammation - again! So on Wednesday I was able to walk much better and yesterday, thank God, I could walk a lot. We had a run through with all suppliers from stages to tents to furniture and also sponsors. Then in late afternoon we had a information m...

Quiet week

We had a lovely celebration of Emil's birthday last Sunday. All the boys came over, Mandy sadly worked and couldn't be here, and we had a great lunch together. Emil This picture is taken last Sunday :-) and as you can see it's very sunny.  After that it has been raining a LOT and today is no exception. It has rained since this morning and it's cold. One day this week it was -2C in the morning!! In May!  That is not OK! I sure hope it will have sort of rained off now so we get nice weather on Saturday when we have the Hagaparkday. From the official site visitstockholm.se I have placed our event on different sites like this official one www.visitstockholm.se. See the photo above. And also here: https://www.facebook.com/events/453669161458729/ We have also advertised all over Stockholm with big posters and  I will be on Radio Stockholm this week. 10-year jubilee done!

Here you see how sunny it was The first of the events in May is done. It was my works 10-year jubilee which we celebrated yesterday. It was the first real warm day of the year and one where we actually could sit outside in the evening without freezing. One is very greatful for those few precious days here :-) The cake There had been a lot of preparations, of course, before the festivities. I have worked with this for quite some time now. On Monday we got the news that the catering firm didn't have any table decorations in our company color which is orange. I came up with the idea of having orange gerberas in glassbowls on the tables and so we did. I went to the flowershop and ordered 30 of them which I then fetched yesterday morning. So fresh! I cut them and put them in the bowls and it was really nice. Look closely and you can see the flowers in the bowls But everything went smothly. The tent went up, the band came and rigged everything and did soundcheck. The b...

Oh, forgot this - Kungstradgarden 7th of June

On June 4 - 7 there is a huge event in Kungstradgarden in Stockholm. It's called "Taste Stockholm" and it is a kind of food festival and with artists as well. On the final night H.E.A.T is headlining and closing the festival. Be sure to be there if you can. It will be a blast and as you know they always deliver a supershow live. I hope to see you there :-)

Torpa on conference

My beautiful birthday boy We were all invited to Jonas and Mandy for birthday celebration last Saturday. They had invited US,  Mandys mom and dad, her grandmother and her aunt.  From Gävle came  Staffan and Lena and Emil and Danniel too.  We  had all  chipped in to give him his dream present - a trip to  Rome for him and Mandy. They are actually leaving tomorrow morning ( I started writing this on Thursday so they are in Rome now) and they have a blast. I on the other hand went on a conference to Torpa in Sodertalje. A wonderful little boardinghouse from 1870. It's said that the house was given to Oscar II mistress as a gift. Who knows but his portrait hangs in the salon. Me on the big terrace outside my room overlooking the sea   I love this place with its interiour from the past, the host who is a young man that took over last year and the wonderful surroundings. The view and a bit of the terrace We worked very ha...
