And the winners are - H.E.A.T

RESULTS! Best live act H.E.A.T Congratulations guys !! You are so worth it.

And I'm going :-)

I did manage to catch my favorite bird at last :-) I have been wanting to go to LA and visit my sister and my American relatives for some time now. It never seems to be the right time. So much to do and the cost. BUT now I have done it. I have booked my trip and I will go April 9 and stay until April 26 :-) Dana point last time I visited. Norbert was kind and took me to different places. You can understand I'm so looking forward to it. I haven't been over for 3 years and that is a long time not seeing the ones you love. It was kind of hard finding tickets over since it involves Easter and I suppose many are going to visit then. I looked on different sites and I just saw the tickets going one after one in a fast pace so finally yesterday I just went ahead :-) Flying British airways as before but home I will go on an American airlines plane. BA and AA are partners so that's why. Me and my sis Jo Besides that joyful news I have been to Gothenburg on a c...

H.E.A.T news and other news

I don't know if you have seen the exciting news about H.E.A.T? They are to release their new album "Tearing down the walls" in April and their first singel will come out already in February :-) They have also released some dates for touring including a Swedish tour in April, a big concert in Madrid in March where they will support one of my favorite bands - Scorpions. Who doesn't love "Wind of change", "Send me and angel" and many more. I would have love to be there but the tickets were already sold out :-( They will also go to USA and Chicago to headline the Melodic Rockfest. It's also their first ever concert in USA. They will also headline Firefest in Nottingham in October. What's more they have been nominated as best live act 2013 by The Rock fusion award.  Vote here! I do hope they win because they really deserve it. They are fenomenal live. If you haven't seen them yet now is your chance.  Jonas has also got his f...

Sunday evening and snowing

I have been very stressed out this week and I really don't know why. Maybe because my foot started hurting again and I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to walk, like last I had it. Luckily it is much better now maybe because I went to chiropody on Friday.    You can tell I was a bit stressed since I did a post where I told about New Year's Eve, again! Even the photos were almost identical. Isn't that a sign of stress?   Why you ask, am I stressed. Well first of all when I came back to work after almost 3 weeks you can imagine how much there was to do. Go through the mail, paying bills, invoicing and to top it all the new time tracking program.   I had no problem with it but it was everyone elses turn to start with it. So I and my co-worker had to install and I had to set it up for everyone which took a lot of my time that I would have needed for invoicing.   Also in January I have the yearly balancing of the books which takes a lot of time....

New Year and back to work

New Year's Eve was very nice , calm and with good food. Since we had Pinglan, the dog, we couldn't go anywhere so we stayed at home. Emil joined us for the celebration. The best way on a New Year's Eve is actually at home especially at our house since we have a 180 sight and all the way into Stockholm. So fireworks are really spectacular. Before that we had a great Toast Skagen followed by Beef fillet with ovenroasted root crops and 3 different sauces, one being brandy sauce. To finish the meal we had chocolate fondant which was so good! The days following was very calm and I really could relax and gain my strength after finishing my antibiotics on Friday 3. So today was first day at work and I know it will be totally chaotic this month. We are introducing a new time tracking program connected to all our different projects. I have been working in it for a couple of months and now the rest will join. But of course nothing goes smothly so there have been seve...

Soon 2013 is over and a new fresh year awaits...

or as one said: We have 365 pages in a new book. Let's fill them with good things. Tonight we celebrate the last hours of this year and me, Hasse and Emil are having dinner together. Jonas is at a party with his friends and some from the band. Danniel is at home also with a delicious dinner. This is what we had. Starter: Räkröra (shrimp hotchpotch on a toast) Happy Emil Main course: Fillet of beef with ovenroasted root crops, brandysauce, garlic sauce and fetacheese sauce Hasse is cutting the beef The dessert was to die for: Chocolate fondant with raspberries and whipped cream  Now we are all waiting for the magic midnight hour. There are a lot of fireworks already (9.30PM) but of course there will be a lot more the closer we get to midnight. I wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014!! whenever that is. Hope next year will be a healthier one and with more joy than this.

Christmas time

I last wrote on Lucia day and much has happened since then. First we had our Christmas party at work which like tradition bids were spent cooking for each other a 3-course dinner. And of course in this was a little competition :-) I was still very tired from eating the antibiotics and also having the bronchitis but I managed to stay all night!  From our balcony kitchen looking down to the shop Bjorn and Marco fixing things The team with the entrée My team, the main course and more from my team Chantarelle soup Delicious cod with white wine sauce, almond potatoe and shrimpsalat (my team) Cheers! Dessert, chocolate fondant with mint pears The day after I went to my doctor and he seemed happy with my tests except the CRP and sed rate. I had sent him (and his wife who is nurse at the clinic) a nice gift which he thanked for. I have had the same doctor for 25 years and that is rare. He can see on me when I'm not feeling well and that is s...
