New Year and back to work

New Year's Eve was very nice , calm and with good food. Since we had Pinglan, the dog, we couldn't go anywhere so we stayed at home.
Emil joined us for the celebration.
The best way on a New Year's Eve is actually at home especially at our house since we have a 180 sight and all the way into Stockholm. So fireworks are really spectacular.
Before that we had a great Toast Skagen followed by Beef fillet with ovenroasted root crops and 3 different sauces, one being brandy sauce.
To finish the meal we had chocolate fondant which was so good!

The days following was very calm and I really could relax and gain my strength after finishing my antibiotics on Friday 3.

So today was first day at work and I know it will be totally chaotic this month.
We are introducing a new time tracking program connected to all our different projects. I have been working in it for a couple of months and now the rest will join. But of course nothing goes smothly so there have been several issues today which I have solved.

Later this month I will attend a course to learn more and hopefully have all the answers on different questions that has popped up during my experience.

It's also this month that I have to do the final accounts for 2013 before our auditor comes to inspect and approve.

So a lot to do and also the Rheumatic association starts with board meetings.

This, almost 3 weeks off work, was so needed.

Take care and talk to you soon :-)

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
