H.E.A.T news and other news

I don't know if you have seen the exciting news about H.E.A.T? They are to release their new album "Tearing down the walls" in April and their first singel will come out already in February :-)

They have also released some dates for touring including a Swedish tour in April, a big concert in Madrid in March where they will support one of my favorite bands - Scorpions. Who doesn't love "Wind of change", "Send me and angel" and many more. I would have love to be there but the tickets were already sold out :-( They will also go to USA and Chicago to headline the Melodic Rockfest. It's also their first ever concert in USA. They will also headline Firefest in Nottingham in October.

What's more they have been nominated as best live act 2013 by The Rock fusion award.

I do hope they win because they really deserve it. They are fenomenal live. If you haven't seen them yet now is your chance.

Jonas has also got his first tatoo. Quite nice I think :-)

It hasn't happened much with me. It's mostly work, work and work right now.

Very busy month January if you work with economy. Many things that has to be done and the biggest being the annual closing of the books. But I'm done now and will meet the auditor first week in February for audit.

Another big thing that has happened is that I will probably go to LA to meet my dear sister (and hopefully the rest of the family). The only thing is if I can get vacation and if I find a ticket. I will go in April and April is Easter and it's hard already to get tickets. But hopefully everything will come together and I can go :-)

Me 60 years ago (almost)

As you might know (or not) I turn 60 (!) in September and I had planned a big party where I would to treat my closest family and friends (around 60 people)to dinner, dance, room, breakfast and drinks at a hotel but I have decided not. It cost so much money and I have decided I want to see my sister in LA instead. It has been 3 years since I last visited and I really want to see them all again. I can't do both (I'm not rich) so this is what I have decided :-) I'm so looking forward to go and I do hope everything falls in place.


And this is me almost 60 years later :-)

I will let you know as soon as I have got the Ok and booked the tickets :-)

But tomorrow I'm off to Gothenburg for a education in Visma Tid (it's a time tracking program that everyone at my work have start using) and I need to learn more. I have been working in the program for a couple of months and I'm the administrator of it and as such I need to know a lot more.

The Christmas smorgasbord I just realized I haven't written anything since November 23! But I can tell you I haven't been lazy but there has been so much going on that I haven't had the strength to write. I had meetings that week and I was supposed to be at a conference hotel for lunch that Friday but I was to tired I had to cancel it. So instead I baked safron buns (!) and made chocolate troufles with ginger. The ferry On December 1 it was Staffan's birthday (Hasse's oldest son) and I worked and worked at my job. Thursday I and Hasse were supposed to go to the theatre and see Come again Charlie, which was one of my birthday presents - thank you Pär and Brita. But Hasse wasn't feeling well so instead I asked Linnea, my bonus grand daughter if she wanted to go and she was very happy that I asked. Anyone??

I wonder if anyone can see and read my blogg? I haven't had any comments in so long that's why I ask. Erik didn't win a Grammy last night but he had a blast and he and his fiancé looked just great! Another Swede, Ludwig Göransson, won 3 prices though. Congrats to him.

Sad day

Tonight Olle, my adoptive father that has been like my father almost all my life, died just before 9PM. It was very quick. I talked to the nurse at 6PM and everything was calm then. Just a bit over 2 hours later she called and said he's gotten worse. I asked how and she said his skin changed colour and that he could have 10 minutes or 10 hours left. I was just trying to get to my sister on the phone and ask her if we should go down when the phone rang again just 15 minutes afterwards and it was the nurse telling me that it was over. He went very peacefully and in his sleep. At the end he was given a lot of morphine so he wouldn't be in pain, which he wasn't. I called my sister but we both felt that we already had said our goodbyes and therefore didn't go down to say a last goodbye. He is probably up there somewhere looking down and sensing our feelings. We haven't been able to reach our mother yet and we probably won't tonight so I will tell her when I go there ...
