HOT HOT H.E.A.T

It has been a wonderful day with sunshine on a clearblue sky and temp in the sunshine around 20C. How can you be anything else but happy about that? Otherwise a calm day and really nothing to do, just relax. We did do Melodikrysset which we do every Saturday morning and have been doing that for at least 7 years. After that K and T came. They were out driving the Studebaker cab and had a pitstop here for coffee which was very nice. Tonight I'm going to watch Babben & Co on TV. I really like that show and next week my favourites are going to be on. Who they are? Well H.E.A.T of course but also Peter Stormare :-) I hope tomorrow will bring as good weather as today. It's already April. What happened? How come time flies so fast these days? Is it because I'm getting older or maybe because you do so many things that it seems like it's flying? I manage to stay out of being a fool on April fools day which is an achievment because many tried :-) Yesterday my Mom turned 85! Can you believe that? I went there today with D and we celebrated her in big style wi th a big flower boquet, presents but we spared her from our singing. We had a little cakeparty with the other guests at the home and the staff. Coffee and great cakes, one with rasberries and whipped cream, the other one "Princess cake" which is with a lid of green marcipan. The photos is from the coffeparty. Mom is looking good I think for 85. O in the background and he's also looking good going on 77. This weekend will be rather quiet, nothing planned so just relax and maybe go for a walk in the sunshine. They have promised us good weather this weekend with temp. around 1...

Saturday I went to my good friend I for dinner with her, K and T. Their son (our "adoptive" grandson) stayed overnight with H and I was suppose to stay overnight at their house after being at the club. We had a wonderful dinner which K had made, homemade bearnaisesauce, grilled vegetables, grilles oxfillet and pomme duchesse. It was gorgeous and to that we was served wine. For dessert crepes filled with berries stirred with chocolate. Topped with chocalate and grilled in the oven and served with icecream, yummie. After that around 10.30 PM it was time to go to the club which is just a couple of hundred meters from their house. Inside there were so many people and I think I knew most of them. Why did we go there? Well, it was H.E.A.T's gig in homage to their hometown. They had support by a band called Denied who played metal and it was very hard and I didn't like it. That was the most exciting news this week. They are number 1 on RixFM's toplist and number 1 on Mix Megapol's top 20-list. The Trackslist isn't revealed until tomorrow so we have to wait and see where they are on that list. These are the major lists in Sweden and the ones where people votes. This week has otherwise been crazy! On Monday I went to see a surgeon and they are going to operate me later this year. After that we had a homestaging person here to see our house. Very interesting and she was very nice and actually works with Simon and Tomas from Design Simon and Tomas on TV3. That night I went to Skavsta airport to pick up our rockstars from H.E.A.T that had been touring in England for a week and have made a huge success I might add. The plane was scheduled at 22.50 but arrived at 23.17 which was very late. On our way back we, of course, had to stop for the bridge in Sodertalje that opened around 1 AM. I then drove Eric to his home in Kista, then Crash in Sollentuna...

I just had to share this with you. Can you believe this? They said on the radiochannel, Mix Megapol, that this was the first time ever a newcomer had climbed this high the first week!! I'm just so proud of you guys but you knew that before didn't you? Today I went to see Mom and O, they are doing fine although Mom do have difficulties when she wants to tell you something. It's hard for her to find the words. It's so sad to see. She always used to be the center of attention at any party or travel we did. It's easier for her to remember the "old" days so I try to talk about that when I visit and then she lit up and talks a lot. O alway go with me and I think he likes it too. I'm going to buy him a new TV since he watch TV all the time and the one he has is way too old. After I've visited them I went up to see D. I also had a sandwich to eat while there. Well it's back to normal again after these crazy weeks with Melodifestivalen. It has been so much fun to travel with the guys although very much in the background. I have been so proud of them and I still am of course. I think they did a great job. H.E.A.T is now in England for a minitour 5 cities in 6 days! That's a lot. Then next Saturday I will see them here in Upplands Vasby and the tickets is sold out so a lot of people will be there. This week we had a meeting with new members at the Rheumatic association. It was very nice and it actually turned up more people than we thought, so we will do that again but not now. Maybe in August or September. Yesterday I spent almost the whole day in Norrtalje. It was such a beautiful weather, the sun was shining and you could feel spring in the air. I always get happier when the sun shines.
