First snow, KOL diagnos, H.E.A.T

We didn't get this much today but this is taken outside our house just a year ago November 24.

OK, now I'm officially tired of all these diseases I have to have!

I can deal with and have dealt with Sjogren's syndrom, Fibromyalgia, IBS, reflux, migraine, whiplash, asthma, I might have forgotten something but you get the picture.
But today I also found out I have KOL (COL) Cronic obstructive lungdisease which isn't a very good diagnose to have. I did smoke before but I stopped smoking January 6, 1997 and my doctor says that is like not having smoked because it has been so long that I should be restored.

Hasse also have the diagnose KOL, he also has asthma and he has RA (Rheumatoid arthritis). From being totally healthy to having all this, you can understand his frustration.

I am used to having constant pain in my head, neck, joints, stomach every day but some days are worse than others. One thing I think has been worse the last weeks is my fatigue. OK, I do a lot and I'm very active but you know that I sometimes just falls asleep, sitting on a chair, in the sofa or typing the computer. Suddenly I find myself sleeping :-) I suppose I need that but it's strange.

Enough talked about sickness and diseases which isn't very nice but sometimes you need to get it out of your system and this is a very good way for me.

H.E.A.T has done their last gig for this summer and is soon going into the studio to record their second album. I'm so curious and from what I have heard it will so good. I can hardly wait.

And that was a proper day to have their last gig because today the first snow fell over Stockholm. It's not much and it hasn't stayed on the ground but it's cold and you never know. Anyday now the big snowfall can come and you'd better be prepared. So today the wintertires went on our car. That makes me feel much better and now I'm ready for winter :-)

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...

Recap of the week

This week meant a lot to do and I'm afraid I haven't taken the time to write here :-( But here's a recap of what has happened. Monday and Tuesday not very much but I was so, so tired and my joints does not like this weather at all. I have so much pain especially in my hands and fingers which makes it hard even to write here.  On Wednesday I went to Norrtälje to my good friend Anne for some treatment, which was very much needed, lots of chat and also a very good lunch. It's always a pleasure to see her and we have so much to talk about all the time. A true friend who I'm so grateful of having. Next day it was time for work and after that directly to the working committe in the Rheumatic association. Afterwards also meeting in the foundation, where we grant money to people who have applied, and fulfill the rules of the statues. When driving home again at night, it's so dark now and I hate driving in the dark, there was an accident with a big truck a...
