HOT HOT H.E.A.T

I got my diploma today! So now I'm certified accountant economist and it feels great. Despite this awful summer where everything seemed to happen (not in a good way) I managed to write my diploma assignment and pass. Yesterday my whole class including our teacher went out for dinner at a Greek restaurant in Stockholm. It was so wonderful and we had a lot of fun. This class has been the best. We have had so much fun although the subjects themselves aren't that laughable (is that a word?) I'm actually very proud of myself :-) Tomorrow it's back to work again and I think J said he would come for dinner.

I have finally seen it. What may you ask. Of course the movie Mamma Mia. And it was just as wonderful as I thought it would be. I have seen the musical in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Las Vegas and I loooove it. It always makes me happy leaving the theatre with a smile that stays for a lon g while. The same thing happened with the movie. The difference this time was that I'm amazed how well the actors sang. I mean I don't think of neither Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgard as singers but they did a great job. Of course Meryl Streep was just gorgeous in the role as Donna and she could sing and so could Colin Firth. He had a real nice voice. Was it the best film ever? Well, that depends. It was absolutely one of the best movies in musical/comedy making you feelgood. In that effect it should win an Oscar. But dramatically not the best but it doesn't matter. When I go to a movie I want to feel good afterwards. There is enough bad things happening in the world. To sum it up - I LOV...

Martin Stenmarck, very famous singer . I just had to share some photos with you guys. It's from Rockweekend in Kilafors, Sweden yesterday. It was the most awful weather with thunder, lightning and heavy rain but just as H.E.A.T went on stage the rain stopped and there were even some sunshine during their show. Afterwards it was back to raining again. We did stay until Alice Cooper started but not the whole show. Enjoy the photos and I will write some time again later on. These 2 last weeks have been awful! Why, E is in hospital and we don't know when he will be well again. I can't write too much about it but it's very sad and that's why I haven't written and I won't write for a while now. I neither have the energy nor the will to do so right now. I wish all of my readers a really nice summer and lots of sunshine.

We have celebrated Midsummer's Eve here on Friday. It was a lovely day with sunshine and kind of warm around 22C daytime and 12C at night. As the vikings we are we sat outside shivering but if it's summer you sit outside regardless. We were invited to our good friends I and K and our lovely adopted grandchildren Ta and To. All in all we were 18 friends that had met up. I made potatoesalad and brought. You can imagine the bowl. It was huge. I made potatoesalad out of 6 kg fresh potatoes, mayo, sour cream, garlic, italian saladspice, leek and dill. It was very good and all said the same. To that we had grilled meat which K had marinated all day. He had also made this delicious sauce that had been cooking since 8 AM that morning that is almost 12 hours. The first thing though we ate was, of course, sill (herring) in all forms and fresh potatoe with "nubbe" vodka. And of course we sang to every nubbe we took. Had a very nice day today. My whole work went to Skansen and Grona Lund to enjoy ourselves. First we were teamed up in 10 different teams, ours being the best of course. We named ourselves STTG which means Sjutusantillgäng (kind of hellofagang but not quite). We got a map of Skansen and on that was written, and photographed, 11 or 12 questions that we had to solve by looking them up thus being given the answers. It was really funny but hard. After that which took 2 hours we headed to the amusement park Grona Lund and there we first of all had something to eat. Then we started our fight in 5 different events. This was only a competition amongst the team but we had a lot of fun and laughter. I didn't end up last at least, in fact I won one of them - the bowling. I'm feeling very tired now because it was a long day and we walked practically all the time for 5 hours. So I'm ready for bed and I did skip the dinner and the party tonight at work. I wouldn't have managed other...

Now I take time although I'm not feeling 100% well. I actually came home Friday after helping O move to his new and permanent home for elderly. While there I had to go shopping a lot for him since the home required that! I felt very dizzy and not my usual self and also when getting back I had to mark all the things I had bought with O's name and also make his bed. I started sweating and couldn't understand what was going on. I snapped at H and he was only being nice. When we returned home I went down to the store to get some things and I started shiver. More so when I returned home and I just took my clothes off and went to bed without dinner or anything. Woke up a bit later hot like a stove. I got up and took the temperature and it hit F 104/C40 so pretty high. I went...
