It's so nice that we let it stay there for a while longer :-)

Yesterday we had class 2 warning on our weather. Apparantly there had been a hurricane over Scotland that came to us.
We weren't the hardest to be hit by it, but on the Swedish west coast there were floodings by the sea.

When it is weather like this it's so nice to stay inside and just cuddle up in the sofa reading a good book or watching some film you have wanted to see for a long time or like me be on the computer telling you about the weather ;-)

Of course I cook as well. Like last night we were kind of froozen so I made a lovely Jerusalem artichoke soup. It was so good and warmed us. Today I'm making a roast pork with mashed potatoes and carrots.

American Idol has started and I really love that show. Especially with the judges that are on now. They seem to have fun together which I like.

Jonas is in Thailand and today they had very warm temperatures and were on the beach (like all other days they have been there). I'm not jealous ;-) I really hope they are having a great time.

So far everything has been rather calm after Christmas and New Year but this coming week all start again. I'm going to my hair stylist on Wednesday. Then Gunilla has birthday on Thursday. The same day I have budget meeting with the Rheumatic association as well as the first meeting for the year with the Working committe. Also I'm working with closing the books at work. So a lot to do this week which will end with the opera, Norma, at the Royal Castle in Stockholm.

I wonder if anyone can see and read my blogg? I haven't had any comments in so long that's why I ask. Erik didn't win a Grammy last night but he had a blast and he and his fiancé looked just great! Another Swede, Ludwig Göransson, won 3 prices though. Congrats to him.

Recap of the week

This week meant a lot to do and I'm afraid I haven't taken the time to write here :-( But here's a recap of what has happened. Monday and Tuesday not very much but I was so, so tired and my joints does not like this weather at all. I have so much pain especially in my hands and fingers which makes it hard even to write here.  On Wednesday I went to Norrtälje to my good friend Anne for some treatment, which was very much needed, lots of chat and also a very good lunch. It's always a pleasure to see her and we have so much to talk about all the time. A true friend who I'm so grateful of having. Next day it was time for work and after that directly to the working committe in the Rheumatic association. Afterwards also meeting in the foundation, where we grant money to people who have applied, and fulfill the rules of the statues. Oh my God

The Christmas smorgasbord I just realized I haven't written anything since November 23! But I can tell you I haven't been lazy but there has been so much going on that I haven't had the strength to write. I had meetings that week and I was supposed to be at a conference hotel for lunch that Friday but I was to tired I had to cancel it. So instead I baked safron buns (!) and made chocolate troufles with ginger.  The ferry On December 1 it was Staffan's birthday (Hasse's oldest son) and I worked and worked at my job. Thursday I and Hasse were supposed to go to the theatre and see Come again Charlie, which was one of my birthday presents - thank you Pär and Brita. But Hasse wasn't feeling well so instead I asked Linnea, my bonus grand daughter if she wanted to go and she was very happy that I asked.
