Meetings and birthdays

This week I was secretary at the annual meeting with the Rheumatic association Sollentuna-Upplands Vasby-Sigtuna. Chairwoman was the chairwoman of the Stockholm district.
Before the meeting I had asked one of my friends, musician and troubador, to sing and play for us. He was just great!
During the performance we had coffee and sandwiches.
Then the meeting which went very well. Afterwards we had yet another cup of coffee and more entertainment.
Our troubador - Chris Holm aka Keno

I was actually free from work from Wednesday and until tomorrow so one extra day. I had worked so much I could compensate with a day which was nice. I wanted to go to a fair - Meeting and Events but in the end I wasn't feeling too good.
Since I stopped taking cortison I have slowly getting worse again :-( I do hope our weather will be better soon because I think it will take that to get better.
Emil and Mom
Yesterday we went to Danniel's birthday dinner. It's a tradition that he invites the family for dinner on his birthday. A very nice tradition I think :-)
Before that we, Hasse, me and Emil went to see my Mom. She was very happy to see us and had a good day :-) It seemed she appreciated to see Hasse and Emil.

After that we went to Danniel who had made a very delicious dinner. First we had toast with Skagenröra. Main course was Pork fillet with potatoe gratin and sallat. For dessert a beautiful strawberrycake with delicious strawberries!
Here we are enjoying ourselves.

Me and Hasse

Jonas couldn't be with us since he's still in Thailand. They seem to be having a great time. With temp. around +34C (which is too hot for me) it will be quite a chock to come back to our temperatures here. They will be home Wednesday morning.

Take care now this week and I'll write soon (!) again.

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
