As promised...

I told you that I would write again on Sunday and here I am ;-)

What happened this week then. Well, nothing much I think. In the beginning of the week there were a lot to do with the study trip to Copenhagen which I was arranging. Last minute changes, more bookings and so on.
Kungsholmens chocolate and coffee - my friends wonderful shop
Thursday it was boardmeeting time with the Rheumatic association and before that I went to my friend Christina's chocolate and coffee shop. I just love that!! Since it was Valentine's Day there were a lot of customers shopping chocolate for their loved ones, of course. I didn't get anything :-( but I did send to the ones that means a lot to me :-) And I bought little chocolate heart form my co-members of the board.

On Friday it was Danniel's 38th birthday!! Can you believe I have a son that age? How can that be? When I'm only 29+ ;-) Anyway I just sent him a birthday card but next Saturday we are going over to have dinner and congratulate him properly :-)
Danniel 37 years ago. With my Mom and on the photo below with uncle and cousins.
Then yesterday it was Bianca's birthday (my niece) and she turned 17!
My sister Helen's beautiful daughter - she does some modelling and this is a Bridal photo shoot
I also went to a cake party to celebrate the birth of my "great grand daughter"You know who I mean. My bff's children that "adopted" us as grandparents. The oldest had her daughter in November and instead of Christening they have this kind of namegiving party which is very popular here in Sweden instead of the Christening. Her name is Freya.

Oh, I forgot that on Monday night I drove Jonas, Mandy, Chris and Celina to Arlanda airport where they took off for Thailand. They will be back on the 27th. Lucky them! But I think, for me, it's too hot there at the moment. It's around 34C.
Jonas and Chris in the pool at their first stop
Jonas in the shower!?
Mandy and Celina in the wonderful water

We who have to stay in the cold and snowy weather can just enjoy these beautiful photos from a warmer place on earth :-)

Take care everyone and I suppose I won't have time to write again until next Sunday :-)

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
