MRI and H.E.A.T gig

Tonight H.E.A.T will gig at Sturecompagniet which is a very "in"-place in the city center of Stockholm. They are on at 0.30AM so if you are in the neighbourhood don't hesitate but go there! I was this morning to the hospital for an MRI, which I hate!! They wanted to check out my pelvis since my last visit when I couldn't walk that is I could walk but with crutches. The MRI gives me creeps. It's like laying in a coffin not being able to move or do anything. You are strapped to the thing you lie on because you are not supposed to move an inch. I also had my arms streched out above my head which was very uncomfortable after a while. I don't mind the sound and knocking at all, it's the feeling of being trapped that gets to me. Have you done it? What do you think? Do you experience the same or is it just me being silly? I got a severe migraine after that so I had to stay home, take a pill and go to bed. After a few hours sleep it's much better so n...

GREATEST HITS OF ROCK AND POP

Me and Peter Me and my sister Helen went to Norrköping which is about 2 hours drive from Stockholm to watch "Greatest hits of Rock and Pop". I had booked hotel room at Elite Grand hotel and we got a very nice junior suite on the top floor with dual aspect windows and great views of the river, the fountin and Norrköping. The view from our room with the fountin Me at the restaurant After a wonderful dinner at Asken, in the former industrial area of Norrköping that once was called "Sweden's Manchester", we went to Louis De Geer concert hall to experience a night of great songs and artists. Some of my favorite artists performed: Peter Johansson known as Galileo in We will rock you, Matilda Hansson his cousin and a leading lady in musicals in Austria and Germany, Nina Söderquist who starred in Spamalot both in London, Malmö and Stockholm and who has a great rock voice and then Tommy Nilsson who has a great rock voice and once won the Swedish Eurovi...

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...

And now what...?

Me last week when we packed the goodiebags It's been almost a week since the big jubilee and today we went to Tre Rosor to have a debriefing. It's kind of sad that we won't be going there regularly now. It's also empty. I have lived with all the planning, lists, contacts with people everywhere and thanks to that it was a huge success but what shall I do now? My favorites -H.E.A.T It's also sad that I won't be seeing my co-members Ingvor and Turid that often now. We do meet at the meetings but it's not the same since there are so many others there. We have to form a kind of party committee I think ;-) We talked about that today and we will suggest that to the board. Today would have been the 80th birthday of my Dad Olle but he's in heaven and having a great party I think :-) Olle on his 75th birthday and next to him my Mom Tomorrow I'm going to my sister Helen's practice. I have an abcess over a tooth and that isn't very...

WOW AND DOUBLE WOW!!

What a day and what a night yesterday! The venue after we had decorated (green and white are Rheumatic association colors) I couldn't have asked for more. They day started at 10.30 at Tre Rosor in Rosersberg where we, after checking in and having lunch, started packing goodiebags. What was in them? I can now tell you: There were shower gel and body lotion 250 ml each, two cruise vouchers, tootbrush and toothpaste, chocolate and an underlayer. Everyone was very happy and surprised when we handed them out :-) The goodiebags after being packed We had wonderful artists, H.E.A.T who played rock so all the ladies went up dancing. Being in pain as we is all the time music is one thing that makes you feel better, but of course today we could hardly walk and are in so much pain but it's worth it.     H.E.A.T on stage We also had two gorgeous cousins - Peter Johansson and Matilda Hansson - entertaining us. Peter is a friend and I asked him a long time ago if they cou...
