Soon the wait is over.....

For all of us H.E.A.T fans the wait will soon be over. In a short time, I can't tell you exactly when, they will release the first single from the new album and that is really something special.
I will of course tell you as soon as it's out there to buy.
This is how they celebrated that the album was ready :-)

We have started the walking competition this week at work and my goal is to walk 7000 steps a day which I have achieved almost every day. Two days I have like 50-100 steps away so I think that is good.
The thing is that every 7000 steps we take our firm gives a certain sum to Save the Children which is a really good cause I think. It's also a fun way to get you out walking. I have a goal to walk from Upplands Väsby to Gävle in this perid which lasts until February 12. Last night I had reached a bit further north of Knivsta and are heading for Uppsala. It's kind of fun because we have a website where we register our steps and then we can follow our walk on the map.

Also our new kitchen at work will soon be ready and we can continue our Monday lunches. They have been on hold now while the work is going on. I'm so looking forward to having a real oven, a real cooker hood fan and stove plates. We can create magic now ;-)

Yesterday I went to see my friend for a long good chat and see her new flat. She has just been divorced and we haven't had a chance to talk properly so it was so nice to see that she's feeling better. The flat was supernice and I especially loved the kitchen.

I feel so, so tired now. So it doesn't matter if you are out walking getting fresh air. It's hard when all you want to do is sleep. Every afternoon when I come home I have this time between 4-5 PM when I watch a TV-show and I always fall asleep. I don't have any problems going to bed at 10PM. Maybe it's because I'm up at 5AM.

Have a great weekend everyone and take care!

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
