Sick :-(

Well, I told you last that I was feeling so tired. Well, I got the explanation when I on Tuesday had 39,5 C fever. I wasn't feel well at all. Could hardly walk because my lymph glands was so swollen. Infection of course but as usual I have no idea where. Next morning, no fever!

So I went to work. Came to work at 6.30 AM as usual. Worked for 2 hours and then I was off to my annual occupatioanl health care control! My BP was excellent, my heart was a bit too slow but the EKG perfect. I do hear bad on one ear and of course my usual. But of course the blood tests I don't know what they said. Maybe the Sed rate was high. I'm going to see the doctor Febr 14 so I will know then.

Anyway after that back to work and then a budget meeting at the Rheumatic association which went very well.
I also had time to visit my friend Christina who has a chocolate and coffee shop nearby. She has the most tasty coffee ever!
Doesn't this looks sinfully good?
I can tell you it is!

Yesterday I had a meeting with the jubilee committe and as always we had a lot of fun but also did a lot of planning.

At work our kitchen was almost completed on Wednesday when I went home. I don't work Thursdays and Fridays so I'm really excited to see how it looks Monday. I took a photo of the wall which is painted orange (one of the logo colors) The pattern is from a spot in the ceiling. Sorry about the bad quality but it's taken with my new phone and I haven't learn the camera yet :-)

Today it's my mother's cousin's birthday. She turns 84 and still going strong.
Happy Birthday Kerstin <3

Tomorrow I'm going to see Mom. She hasn't been well the last days but today she had been sitting up and she even drank some juice which is a good sign.

After being at her place I will go to Danniel for some lunch. I have a treat for him :-)

Hope you all have a great weekend and take care!

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
