Some of the safronbuns. I make them like cinammon buns but with safron and almond icing. Delicious if I may say so myself :-)
I know, I admit I have been a very bad blogger lately ;-) I don't know why I don't have or rather take the time to write down things even though they aren't that special. I know I love to read others who think their blogs aren't any exciting but I love to follow the day to day life even the boring days. We all have them don't we?
Today for instance. I started out baking safronbuns for the second time in two weeks! We now have almost 200!
No, we are not going to eat them ourselves. I think we would gain too much if we did ;-) No, we are having a 3rd Advent glogg mingle with H.E.A.T families, my co-workers, family from all over and if the guys get ready in the studio they will come too. I do hope they will but they now say it will take yet another week so not sure.
I have also baked a lot of other things, of course :-) And we will treat them with glogg, coffee, buns, other stuff I can't write here because some of them may read this :-) and I want some things to be a surprise. I can tell you afterwards.
Jonas baking safron buns. He's almost 3 years here and he's such a good baker.
We have also done some Christmas decorations and it's starting to feel like Christmas although we have no snow at all. It hasn't even been cold up til now.
This is our back garden November 27 last year. And now, no snow at all!
Well, we have to wait and see there will be any snow this Christmas.
I have also been to my doctor and my blood tests were all well but I have this pain in my stomach now and then and it's so painful it's starting to effect my daily life. For instance I had to go during the interval when we were at the Opera last. It was Carmen, one of my favourites, but I couldn't stay because of the pain. So now I will have a CT done and see if they can figure out what is wrong.
I also had a lunch meeting with some friends on Wednesday. Very nice with good food, chatting and even singing :-)
Sunday I'm off to fix my hair, yes Sunday. My hairdresser is great and have time even on Sundays.
Then next week I will go to Gavle and me, Gunilla and Lena are going on a Christmas concert with Peter Johansson and his cousin Matilda. He is the singer who played Galileo in We will rock you in London for 7 years. Great singer! And so is his cousin. She has performed in Vienna in musicals. So we are in for a treat I think. It's my birthday gift for Gunilla and Lena (Lena is December 30th and Gunilla January 15).
A link to last Christmas concert HERE.
Take care now and have a wonderful 2nd Advent everyone :-)
The safronbuns look wonderful!
SvaraRaderaAnd I hope you get some snow for the holidays, I always think of a white Christmas in Sweden :)
