Birthday and Sunny California

Today my middle son Jonas turned 26 and I'm in California not able to congratulate him. But I did call him on Skype so we were able to talk to each other and I even got to sing to him :-)

As I said I'm in California and has actually been here for 4 days already. Time flies when you're having fun.

Since I came the weather has been reallyl really summerwarm but it's said to be clouds tomorrow. I post some photos here. One is from the jaccuzzi bath last night, another one from one of the hummingbird that comes to the feeder. They are truly amazing birds and I love to watch them.

Today we had Norbert over for dinner and we had BBQ big steaks and they were so good, juicy and tasty.

Tomorrow I'm going on a scenic tour to the beaches south of here like Newport beach and so on. That should be fun and beautiful.

I wrote this yesterday and then I was so tired I had to go to bed and forgot to publish :-)

Well, here it is anyway. I'm sitting here waiting for Norbert who is gonna take me for a scenic tour. The weather is not as nice as yesterday in fact a bit cloudy.

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in! Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor.
