Birthday and Sunny California

Today my middle son Jonas turned 26 and I'm in California not able to congratulate him. But I did call him on Skype so we were able to talk to each other and I even got to sing to him :-)

As I said I'm in California and has actually been here for 4 days already. Time flies when you're having fun.

Since I came the weather has been reallyl really summerwarm but it's said to be clouds tomorrow. I post some photos here. One is from the jaccuzzi bath last night, another one from one of the hummingbird that comes to the feeder. They are truly amazing birds and I love to watch them.

Today we had Norbert over for dinner and we had BBQ big steaks and they were so good, juicy and tasty.

Tomorrow I'm going on a scenic tour to the beaches south of here like Newport beach and so on. That should be fun and beautiful.

I wrote this yesterday and then I was so tired I had to go to bed and forgot to publish :-)

Well, here it is anyway. I'm sitting here waiting for Norbert who is gonna take me for a scenic tour. The weather is not as nice as yesterday in fact a bit cloudy.

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in! BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. 1stH Advent celebrations

Today is 1st Advent and though my back is still hurting I could get through our traditional celebrations. That is we invite the H.E.A.T family including the guys, girlfriends, parents, siblings and other friends ;-) This year they could actually be here almost all of them. Last year, if you remember, they were recording their record and couldn't attend. Some of the guys from H.E.AT with girlfriends Then only one and his family that couldn't come today was Erik G and his family but that is because he turns 25 tomorrow and they were having a family celebration for him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY in advance Erik Me, Hasse, Dave, Annie, Bernt and Brita The first guests arrived at 1PM and the last ones left at 4.15PM but it was never crowded because people came and left at different times.
