Snowstorm

This is how it looks just now from our window at the back of the house. As you can see we are totally snowed-in. But now since the sun came out it's beautiful.
The last 24 hours has been filled with snow, snow and more snow!  This morning there were no buses in traffic in the whole of Stockholm. The subway didn't work on some lines. The commuter train was delayed or withdrawn. Consequently peopel wasn't able to go to work. Even schools had to close because the teachers couldn't come, of course. You couldn't even go by car because the roads weren't cleared and even if they had been able to the wind was so strong that it would have been no use.
So there you once again were told how vulnerable we are against the forces of nature. Luckily we see some sunshine now and the wind has settled.

Otherwise nothing special has happened since I wrote last. I have been ill since last Wednesday really. Sinusitis, a sore throat and fever. I have been working though until Tuesday afternoon, mainly because the annual closing of books and meeting with our auditor. But then I was sent home with orders not to come back until I was feeling well :-)

I do feel better and tomorrow we are going on a 90-year birthdayparty. It's our friends that turns 50 and 40 thus 90 :-) That will be fun.

Hope you all have a great weekend. See you soon. Hugs

I wonder if anyone can see and read my blogg? I haven't had any comments in so long that's why I ask. Erik didn't win a Grammy last night but he had a blast and he and his fiancé looked just great! Another Swede, Ludwig Göransson, won 3 prices though. Congrats to him.

Hello December

This month started with a tax education, yeah :-) in Uppsala. Since we don't have a goverment yet due to the chaotic political scene after the election, no one actually knows what's going to happen with taxes. It's just guesses. The day after we had Christmas celebration at the Rheumatic district of Stockholm. It was a lot of fun, good food and nice to meet everyone :-) And on Saturday it was time for Christmas lunch with my own Rheumatic local association. We were around 30 members incl. Eddie and Mandy. We had a lot of good food and we had the party at a local hotel here in Väsby in Bredden. There were two other children there so I bought them each a Christmas gift and they were very happy for what they got from the Rheumatic Santa Claus. Me decorating a board member with a honoray sign Eddie and the palm tree Some of the Christmas bord I haven't been feeling well for a couple of months.
