Birthday :-)

Yesterday was my birthday, yes finally :-) and it was really really nice.
The first one congratulating me was Hasse with a great hug and Happy Birthday. From him I got half my ticket to LA, which is great. The next one was Jo calling from LA. For them it was still the evening of September 14 but here 5.30 AM. I'm up early so that was great. It was so nice talking to her and so nice of her to call and remembering my day. Then it was off to work where Jonas, Danniel and Emil called me to congratulate. I had made a cake which I brought to work (I made it double). They seemed to like it because it wasn't much left when I had to go home. I took with me the last piece because I knew there would be people coming over.

And so it was. Kitte came over with the most gorgeus flower, orchid which we love. Then Emil came with the biggest hug and I love you. I also got a wonderful boquet of flowers from Gunilla  (who also called me) and Staffan (also calling). Apart from all this I had I think 90 congratulations on my log on Facebook <3 <3

It's a great way of showing appreciation I think. You know I love birthdays and that's a good way of congratulating your friends when you don't have the opportunity to visit them.

Today I also received a gift from Emil through "Nallebudet". It was a soft, cosy dog ( I think) with a wonderful message from Emil.
Jonas couldn't come yesterday because he was exercising with Erik G but he and Mandy will come on Saturday which is the day we have the real celebration.

I'm soon off to a membermeeting with the Rheumatic association which I hope will be successful.
Til next time - Take care :-)

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
