H.E.A.T gig at Gröna Lund yesterday

This gig July 27 was the last one with the original H.E.A.T members. Kenny has, like I've written before, taken the decision to leave the band. So this was his farewell and what a night it was!!
One of the best concerts ever and very emotional. The version of Cry was simply outstanding and when they as last tune did Separate ways I promise you that there wasn't many dry eyes in the audience.
A big, big crowd had gathered and it was a both sad and happy night. Kenny sang as he haven't sang for a long time. He really gave it all and his voice reached notes you didn't think was possible so a very worthy last concert with him.

This is the speech Kenny held to the audience. It's only in Swedish unfortunately but he says that it's a very emotional night for him. That there have been a lot of rumours that his voice is gone but his reason for leaving is strictly personal and he will write a letter to fans and put on H.E.A.T's website explaining why he leave.
He also says that he loves us and that he loves the guys and wish them luck in the future and that he will always support them.

I don't konw if it's possible to upload videos here but I will give you a link to the version of Cry. Thanks to one of H.E.A.T's biggest fan, Kristian Reuter, I was able to get this nice videos. He filmed with my videocamera since he was closer to the stage and had free view.

Apart from this we have had, as I told you before a very long heat-wave here in Sweden and it's still on. So Sunday to Monday me and Hasse took a cruise to Åbo in an Executive suite just to be on the sea, to eat good, drink good and just enjoy. We had a great trip.
Now it's only a couple of days left of my vacation and on Monday I'm at work again.

It seems like you had a great vacation going to so many lovely places. And the H.E.A.T concert must have been fantastic! Have they found a new singer yet?

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
