Swedish National Day June 6

I know I have been bad writing my blog but you have to excuse me since my new job takes a lot of my time (of course). So much to learn and I really want to do the most of it while Rose is still there. It's such a blessing to have an experienced, both in routines and economics at this firm to help me get into things as quick as possible.

But it hasn't happened that much since I wrote last time ;-) Or maybe it has? I went to the hairdresser and dyed my hair darker. I have also been to Norrtälje to my friend for lunch and treatments which was high time and I felt so much better afterwards.

Swedish flag, a wonderful sight this day
Mandy graduating
Then on Friday Jonas girlfriend Amanda graduated so we, Jonas and me went to her reception and I met all her relatives for the first time (or most of them).

Today it's Sweden's National Day and I went to our local celebration here in Upplands Väsby and you can't guess who was the 2009 Honorary Väsbyresidents? Hard one, hey ;-)
H.E.A.T!! And this is really a great honour. It's almost like getting the key to the town from the mayor (to compare with USA)
H.E.A.T played in Copenhagen, Denmark last night and had no chance to get to the festivities in time so
their driver Kent was there to receive the award on their behalf. Of course I was there too :-) And the chief of Information of our municipality spotted me and wanted me on stage as well so I went up.

I wonder if anyone can see and read my blogg? I haven't had any comments in so long that's why I ask. Erik didn't win a Grammy last night but he had a blast and he and his fiancé looked just great! Another Swede, Ludwig Göransson, won 3 prices though. Congrats to him.

Hello December

This month started with a tax education, yeah :-) in Uppsala. Since we don't have a goverment yet due to the chaotic political scene after the election, no one actually knows what's going to happen with taxes. It's just guesses. The day after we had Christmas celebration at the Rheumatic district of Stockholm. It was a lot of fun, good food and nice to meet everyone :-) And on Saturday it was time for Christmas lunch with my own Rheumatic local association. We were around 30 members incl. Eddie and Mandy. We had a lot of good food and we had the party at a local hotel here in Väsby in Bredden. There were two other children there so I bought them each a Christmas gift and they were very happy for what they got from the Rheumatic Santa Claus. Me decorating a board member with a honoray sign Eddie and the palm tree Some of the Christmas bord I haven't been feeling well for a couple of months. I have attended a board meeting with the Rheumatic assocation district Stockholm. I went to my hairstylist since it was long overdue. My hairstylist has truly became a very good and dear friend. We have similar backgrounds and we have children that are artists. Her daughter is a singer and show host on one of the cruise ships on the Baltic Sea and I have Jonas.
