What happens? Is it Halloween or the fullmoon?

I wrote a lot yesterday and published it but suddenly today it's gone?!?!? What happens? Was it Halloween or is it the fullmoon? I don't know but it's kind of creepy....

I had written about the opera I went to on Saturday. Händel's Xerxes a barock-opera and I can really understand why it's called barock (baroque in English) . It's very sort of rock in the music. It's hard to sit still and you feel like moving and almost dancing. The scene was set in Iran during the 30s and with a very clever scenography. The orchestra was great and the singers fenomenal. So a very nice Saturday evening.
I really think today's rockband could be inspired by the baroque music.

Yesterday I went to Mom and really I wanted her and me to go to the grave. I had bought a gravecandle and a decoration (see photo). But when I came to the home for elderly she wasn't very good. She was laying in bed sleeping and was very confused when she woke up and didn't recognize me. I talked to the personal and they said she hadn't been eating her breakfast. One nurse came and I gave her a glass of rosehip soup which she drank. After that she got better so I think she was dehydrated. But she was still too bad to be able to go with me. I stayed until lunch and then I went myself to the grave. I have never seen that many people at the graveyeard but of course it was All Saints Day and many were there to light candles and remember their loved ones.

Today I have been working and straight after work I went to the hairdresser to do my hair. It was really time I think.

Tomorrow I'm going to Norrtälje to my friend Anne for our usual lunch and treatment. Very nice and I'm so looking forward to it.

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
