In Falun

Today at work I called a lot of chimney-sweepers about our education in order to be energy expert. I had a lot of very interesting and nice conversation. I was rather happy because I managed to answer all their questions but the one how you get ackredited.
I transferred that question to Richard and he has already sent them mail that he can explain this to them.

After work I went home for lunch which was leftovers from yesterday: Cod in dillsauce and mashed potatoes. Very good. Then packing the last things and off I went to Arlanda where I took the train for Falun.

After 2 1/2 hours through a foggy, rainy and grey landscape I reached Falun. I actually took a cab to the hotel which wasn't that far from the station but it was raining pretty heave so I decided to go. When I came to the hotel the taxidriver wanted 60 SEK and I told him to take 70 SEK and gave him a 100 bill. Then he said he didn't have any change and do you know what he did? He gave me a 50 bill and said that was OK. So I got 1o SEK deduction :-) Could never have happened in Stockholm or Upplands Väsby I assure you. They would have taken the 100.

I checked in a got a very nice room in a very very old hotel. But modern standard so I'm happy.
Then out on the town to see where I am suppose to go tomorrow. I found it although it took a while and I even called Hasse who tried to help me via phone but I found it by myself.

When I returned to the hotel I went down to the restaurant where they serve a complimentary dinnerbuffet! It was very good and so practical and cheap :-)

So now some TV and then sleep. I'll try to write about the course tomorrow.

Oh, I forgot H.E.A.T went to record their new album yesterday and that is actually not far from here. I wish them good luck in their work. They will stay up here for 5 weeks.

Nighty nighty :-)

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...

Recap of the week

This week meant a lot to do and I'm afraid I haven't taken the time to write here :-( But here's a recap of what has happened. Monday and Tuesday not very much but I was so, so tired and my joints does not like this weather at all. I have so much pain especially in my hands and fingers which makes it hard even to write here.  On Wednesday I went to Norrtälje to my good friend Anne for some treatment, which was very much needed, lots of chat and also a very good lunch. It's always a pleasure to see her and we have so much to talk about all the time. A true friend who I'm so grateful of having. Next day it was time for work and after that directly to the working committe in the Rheumatic association. Afterwards also meeting in the foundation, where we grant money to people who have applied, and fulfill the rules of the statues. When driving home again at night, it's so dark now and I hate driving in the dark, there was an accident with a big truck a...
