TGIF

Yes, I can surely underline that expression TGIF. I am very tired after this week that has been hectic to say the least.

Monday and Tuesday just flew away and on Wednesday I saw my coach. Yesterday I went to a very nice lunch with 2 girlfriends. One of them, Eva, had invited me and Gun-Britt for lunch in her beautiful flat overlooking lake Norrviken. She had made this wonderful chantarellesoup which was served with fresh bread and Västerbotten cheese (my favourite). Afterwards we had coffee and she had baked a deliciuos applecake with vanillacustard. Yummie! So a very nice afternoon.
Then home and I didn't feel like cooking again so I just had yoghurt and Hasse had leftovers.
But for today I had made homemade meatballs and mashedpotatoe (of course homemade as well) and with that I served broccoli and lingonberry. One of Hasse's favourite dishes.

This afternoon I went to see my very good friend Inger whose birthday was October 4 and her daughter Tracy who had birthday this Monday. So I went over with flowers and presents, and of course some candy for the "grandchildren".
Our gift to them is a visit to Aqua Spa in Infra city and a 1 2/2 hour treatment and afterwards splash in the pool or just relaxing in the jaccuzi. I too are coming and this is next Friday.

Tomorrow I'm off to Örebro with my sister Helen. We will see Champions of Rock which I'm so much looking forwards to. We will even stay overnight at hotel so it is like a minivacation.
I will try to take some photos although my camera is broken in the lcd-field but the photos is still good.

I wonder if anyone can see and read my blogg? I haven't had any comments in so long that's why I ask. Erik didn't win a Grammy last night but he had a blast and he and his fiancé looked just great! Another Swede, Ludwig Göransson, won 3 prices though. Congrats to him.

Recap of the week

This week meant a lot to do and I'm afraid I haven't taken the time to write here :-( But here's a recap of what has happened. Monday and Tuesday not very much but I was so, so tired and my joints does not like this weather at all. I have so much pain especially in my hands and fingers which makes it hard even to write here.  On Wednesday I went to Norrtälje to my good friend Anne for some treatment, which was very much needed, lots of chat and also a very good lunch. It's always a pleasure to see her and we have so much to talk about all the time. A true friend who I'm so grateful of having. Next day it was time for work and after that directly to the working committe in the Rheumatic association. Afterwards also meeting in the foundation, where we grant money to people who have applied, and fulfill the rules of the statues. Oh my God

The Christmas smorgasbord I just realized I haven't written anything since November 23! But I can tell you I haven't been lazy but there has been so much going on that I haven't had the strength to write. I had meetings that week and I was supposed to be at a conference hotel for lunch that Friday but I was to tired I had to cancel it. So instead I baked safron buns (!) and made chocolate troufles with ginger.  The ferry On December 1 it was Staffan's birthday (Hasse's oldest son) and I worked and worked at my job. Thursday I and Hasse were supposed to go to the theatre and see Come again Charlie, which was one of my birthday presents - thank you Pär and Brita. But Hasse wasn't feeling well so instead I asked Linnea, my bonus grand daughter if she wanted to go and she was very happy that I asked.
