Today has been a really busy day at work but oh so fun. If I were completely well and not having all these diagnoses and had the strength I would absolutely run a small inn or a small conference center. I really love the contact with the students and caring for them so that they are able to do their best and learn. I generally like to make feel people comfortable and feel good.

When I came home I had a chat with Hasse over lunch. Really nice and he's feeling much better.
Did I tell you he did his cataract-operation on Monday. I can't believe how fast
the operation was. He was ready to go home after only 2 hours. But of course when he came home the anaesteshia had gone and his eye started to run. After a couple of hours resting in his favourite chair he was fit for fight again :-) Now he says he sees extremely well far away but it's very hard to read because it's blurry.

Tomorrow it's already Friday. Time really flies when you have fun. I do have to write my CV before meeting with my coach next week.

H.E.A.T will play with Hardcore Superstar in Gothenburg tomorrow and in Stockholm on Saturday. Sadly enough I won't be able to see them in Stockholm because I'm on a course this weekend too.

Gotland is beautiful in autumn too. The photos are taken in late October 2004.

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
