Little Saturday, H.E.A.T on Swedish Television Friday 7.45 PM

When I was young(er) we used to call Wednesday "LittleSaturday" because it was midweek and too long to the weekend so we went out on discos and partied. Nowadays Saturday often means a time to rest after a hard week and Wednesdays is just another day in the week.

I never thought that day would come way back then. Elder people like Mom and Dad were so boring never going out never doing anything funny - and now I'm there myself. Preferring to stay at home before going out. Sad really but I guess every age has its beauty and desires and in the age I'm now I prefer peace, calm, meditative music - at least that is what I tell myself. Sometimes I really do but as you might have read in my blog you know I'm far from the calm, peaceful stayathome person I think I am :-)).

Sometimes I really need my calm and then I try to go to a spa for a weekend. That IS really peaceful. Get some treatments, eating good, getting in the meditative state of mind you do when on Spa. I like that.

Hasse and Gunilla gave me a spastay for my birthday. I just don't know when to fit it in. The next weekend available when I don't have anything planned is November 7-8. So maybe then.
I love yasuragi the Japanese Spa outside of Stockholm. I have been there numerous times and the last time Gunilla and I went there was the best ever!!! We had a suite with balcony, our own mosaic bath and it was so beautiful. We said to ourselves - now we can never stay in an ordinary room again after this :-) So we have to see where we end up.

Work is so fun but and I really enjoy it but of course you who know me, knows that I'm very ambitious and always wants to do my best. This time I have to start from scratch so both exciting and fun.

Take care all of you out there.
By the way if you live in Sweden and can watch Swedish Television you can see H.E.A.T on Bobster Friday at 7.45PM Barnkanalen.
H.E.A.T is still on Svensktoppen for the 23d week in a row!!! Congratulations.

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
