Birthdayparty


Today was our grandchild's birthday. She's not really our grandchild but has adopted us :-)
We went to her afternoon-party by the pool and it was a beautiful day with sunshine and rather warm temperature.

I had bought her a giftcard to H&M and a pendant with the Gotland rose and also a pair of earrings with small hearts on them. She was very happy for the gifts.

We had coffee with lots of cockies which Tanya and Tracy had baked themselves. Inger had made the cake which was topped with strawberries and an eatable photo of E.M.D! Well, I don't know what all the fuss is about them but apparantly little girls love them.

After that all kids went into the pool. We could have too but I didn't have my swimsuit with me, bad choice, so I couldn't. Then Angelica came with her babygirl Kendra and she went into the pool for the first time in her life. She loved it, Kendra that is not Angelica :-) (although it looked like Angelica also loved it)

We had Hilma alone at home and she's in heat so we needed to go back home. After we came home we planned our party and how to organize all. I think it will be great.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. Recap of the week

This week meant a lot to do and I'm afraid I haven't taken the time to write here :-( But here's a recap of what has happened. Monday and Tuesday not very much but I was so, so tired and my joints does not like this weather at all. I have so much pain especially in my hands and fingers which makes it hard even to write here.  On Wednesday I went to Norrtälje to my good friend Anne for some treatment, which was very much needed, lots of chat and also a very good lunch. It's always a pleasure to see her and we have so much to talk about all the time. A true friend who I'm so grateful of having. Next day it was time for work and after that directly to the working committe in the Rheumatic association. Afterwards also meeting in the foundation, where we grant money to people who have applied, and fulfill the rules of the statues. 1stH Advent celebrations

Today is 1st Advent and though my back is still hurting I could get through our traditional celebrations. That is we invite the H.E.A.T family including the guys, girlfriends, parents, siblings and other friends ;-) This year they could actually be here almost all of them. Last year, if you remember, they were recording their record and couldn't attend. Some of the guys from H.E.AT with girlfriends Then only one and his family that couldn't come today was Erik G and his family but that is because he turns 25 tomorrow and they were having a family celebration for him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY in advance Erik Me, Hasse, Dave, Annie, Bernt and Brita  The first guests arrived at 1PM and the last ones left at 4.15PM but it was never crowded because people came and left at different times.
