This weekend has been really dull with foggy weather and the snow melting away. What to do then? Well I have been so much out and about that this weekend was really welcome. Do you know what I have been doing?
I have started reading the trilogy of Stieg Larsson about Millenium. The first book was awesome. I could hardly stop reading, or reading for that matter. I have listened to it as audio book and I have never been able to do that before but this reader was so good - Reine Brynolfsson. They have of course made a film of it and it premieres on February 27. I really would love to read all parts before I see the movie.
Last night we saw the Swedish Pre Eurovision contest, of course, the first part that took place in Gothenburg. There were a lot of new rules this year and very confusing. It seemed like neither Petra nor the artists really know what the new rules were. Anyway straight to the final went Alcazar and Emilia. To the second chance Scotts and Caroline af Ugglas who also was voted by the international jury as their choice. This means that Caroline has two chances to reach the final both in the second chance and the international jury. I thought it was rather strange that neither Marie nor Nina got more votes. I didn't like Scott's contribution nor Caroline's. I really like Caroline but it's not a song for the Eurovision I think.
Next week we will be in Skelleftea with H.E.A.T. The number to call to vote for them is:
099-230 04 or if you want to pay more 099-320 04
We will fly up early Friday morning (only plane we could get seats on) and the actual contest is Saturday night. Almost all of us H.E.A.T parents, siblings, girlfriends, aunts, grandma's, mother-in-laws, friends etc will stay at the same place so we will surely have a great time.
On Sunday it's D's birthday. He will turn 34! I don't have that grown children have I? I can't believe it's that long ago I laid at Huddinge hospital waiting for him to be born. Happy Birthday D. We won't be able to congratulate him that day but we have been excused since we are in Skelleftea. By the way he didn't want to come so it's his choice. He will cheer in front of the tele instead.
Something to think about: Love cures human beings, both those who gives love and those who receives love.
