Change of plans...

Panic broke loose tonight. Our dog sitter called and said he has the flu. What to do?
We tried everyone and everywhere we could think of but since she's in heat noone wants to take her.
We finally decided that H will stay home and that we would replace him with someone. But who?

We called L in Gavle and she said yes so she suddenly had to figure out what to bring and then come down already tomorrow evening. The plane leaves so early that she wouldn't have been able to make it going down on Friday morning.

We will have more houseguests tomorrow night. Both M and her Mom S is coming to stay the night. They live so far and akward that they would have to get up at night to be in time at Arlanda. We haven't met S before, I have just talked to her on FB and on phone so very excited to meet her. But her daughter is lovely so I think she's too - like mother like child.

It's too bad H can't come but I know he has been doubting it for a while. He thinks it's so hard with his coughing and the thought of sitting in live TV coughing wasn't the most pleasant thing for him. He was also very worried if he even had the strenght to go. Of course he wanted to, don't think otherwise, and he would have gone if this hadn't happen but as it turns out I think he's quite pleased to sit at home calling the number again and again, keeping his fingers crossed.

Speaking of calling numbers. Do you remember the number to call?

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...

Recap of the week

This week meant a lot to do and I'm afraid I haven't taken the time to write here :-( But here's a recap of what has happened. Monday and Tuesday not very much but I was so, so tired and my joints does not like this weather at all. I have so much pain especially in my hands and fingers which makes it hard even to write here.  On Wednesday I went to Norrtälje to my good friend Anne for some treatment, which was very much needed, lots of chat and also a very good lunch. It's always a pleasure to see her and we have so much to talk about all the time. A true friend who I'm so grateful of having. Next day it was time for work and after that directly to the working committe in the Rheumatic association. Afterwards also meeting in the foundation, where we grant money to people who have applied, and fulfill the rules of the statues. When driving home again at night, it's so dark now and I hate driving in the dark, there was an accident with a big truck a...

That is we invite the H.E.A.T family including the guys, girlfriends, parents, siblings and other friends ;-) This year they could actually be here almost all of them. Last year, if you remember, they were recording their record and couldn't attend. Some of the guys from H.E.AT with girlfriends Then only one and his family that couldn't come today was Erik G and his family but that is because he turns 25 tomorrow and they were having a family celebration for him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY in advance Erik Me, Hasse, Dave, Annie, Bernt and Brita  The first guests arrived at 1PM and the last ones left at 4.15PM but it was never crowded because people came and left at different times. At one time all 30 were in place and it was crowded but oh so nice. Lot of chatting, drinking glögg which were everything from 0% alcohol til much more..... Also I had coffee, "snittar...
