This afternoon it started snowing and it's really beautiful. It actually stays on the ground since it has been cold and icy all day.
When I was out walking Hilma she went nuts. She just loves the snow especially eating it. Every winter it's the same she rather eat the snow than drink water. Isn't that strange? Does any of you have a dog that does the same?
Today I started work late since we had this information all afternoon but do you think I got anything done? I slept in until 07.30 which was very nice. Then had a lovely breakfast. I was going to watch TV a favourite show I have that is called A place in the sun, but suddenly our TV didn't work :-(
We have installed a satellite dish last Friday and it hasn't been working properly since so I got so frustrated. I was trying to get it to work and the clock kept ticking.
Finally I had to take a shower, do my hair and makeup, eat lunch and then off to work so I actually ended up stressing. Oh, I forgot I cut H's hair as well and prepared dinner.
I have to share a recipe with you and it is what we had to dinner yesterday. It was a new recipe I tried and it was delicious but I added some bits and pieces making it even better (I think). So here it is:
Stew of pork fillet and honey
70 g bacon
500 g pork fillet
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
2,5 dl water
2 dl cream
1 tablespoon tamarisoy
1 tablespoon honey
2 apples
1 teaspoon tarragon
1 teaspoon mushrom soy
300 g pasta
100 g salat
1 dl fine chopped leek
200 g tomatoes
100 g sliced carrots
Cut the bacon i smaller pieces. Fry in a pan. Cut the porkfillet in thin slices and fry them in the butter i the pan. Season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle flour and stir. Add water, cream, honey, tamarisoy and mushrom soy. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Cut the apples in slices and add together with tarragon.
Serve with a salat made out of salat, leek, tomatoes and carrots and pasta.
I hope you will enjoy this dish which we thought was good. You can even serve it when you have guests. It's that good.
It's the big PARTY tomorrow and I'm sure we will have a lot of fun. I'm a bit sad because I had 3 different things that I was invited to. That never ever happens otherwise. First I was invited to this big party at Café Opera, then my work party and also tomorrow night H.E.A.T will perform unplugged at Harry B James in Stockholm. That would have been something to see. But you have to make a choice and I choose my work since 28 years. I am going to see H.E.A.T in Linkoping as well as in London and I can't go to every concert even if I wanted to :-)
Now I'm actually going to watch TV!! I'm going to see a programme called Farmer looks for a wife. Until tomorrow then :-)
