Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden

attended the Royal Opera and watched the opera La Boheme tonight. She sat in the Royal box of course, but her boyfriend Daniel Westling wasn't allowed to so he sat in the box reserved for members of the court. This was a private visit and not official.
Our box is opposite the Royal Box but this was actually the first time any royal has been there while we have. My friend and I usually go once a month during season so this was rare. I'm happy to say that it looked like she enjoyed the opera and even shed a tear. I and C of course cried. Puccini was a genious in expressing strong, human emotions in his music I think.
Mimi was sung for the first time by Maria Fontosh and she did a wonderful Mimi.
The conductor was Pier Giorgio Morandi whom we have seen before conducting Il Trovatore. He's so gifted especially when it comes to Italian composers.

This was a wonderful evening and now I'm home still filled with that wonderful music and are taking that with me when I go to bed. So here's to sweet dreams and wonderful music. Good night

Recap of the week

This week meant a lot to do and I'm afraid I haven't taken the time to write here :-( But here's a recap of what has happened. Monday and Tuesday not very much but I was so, so tired and my joints does not like this weather at all. I have so much pain especially in my hands and fingers which makes it hard even to write here.  On Wednesday I went to Norrtälje to my good friend Anne for some treatment, which was very much needed, lots of chat and also a very good lunch. It's always a pleasure to see her and we have so much to talk about all the time. A true friend who I'm so grateful of having. Next day it was time for work and after that directly to the working committe in the Rheumatic association. Afterwards also meeting in the foundation, where we grant money to people who have applied, and fulfill the rules of the statues. When driving home again at night, it's so dark now and I hate driving in the dark, there was an accident with a big truck a...
