Only 1 day left, not counting today until we go. I know I shouldn't have such high expections because I risc getting dissapointed but I don't think anything could get me dissapointed now. If things aren't up to the standard or something else lacks it doesn't matter because I will still be having my very well deserved rest and H too of course. If someone needs it more than me it's him who has tackled his disease, since October 1 last year, that no one seems to know what it is. I did very early on, in December, suggested that it was something rheumatic but the doctors weren't on my side then but now they are and they have referred him to a rheumatic ward for evaluation and diagnose (that is when we come home).
My fair lady
I told you I was going to see the first public rehearsal of My fair lady and that I had been given one free ticket from SJ (our public railroad in Sweden) but what I didn't know was the wonderful party this was. When we arrived we walked into the theatre on the red carpet with torches around. Well inside we were given champagne and different dainty sandwiches and we were entertained by a singer and musicians.
The musical and the performers were great especially the first act. I love Helen Sjoholm who does the lady. Her voice is exeptional. Her Higgins is played by Tommy Korberg also an extremely gifted singer. And then there was Jan Malmsjo who had the role as Elizas father and how he did it. So wonderfully gifted.
In the interval we were served coffee, drinks and chocolate.
After the show when we went out each and everyone of us was given a flower, a carnation.
Thank you SJ for this wonderful evening.
O's birthday
Yesterday we went to celebrate O's birthday. He turned 76 and I had bought cakes and we had a lovely coffeetime with all the elder and cakes. They really seemed to appreciate it. We also sang for O and he looked very happy. In fact he looks better than in years. He has put on some weight and has a glimpse in his eyes now that hasn't been there for a long long time.
