Monday and snow

The weekend passed very quickly and I'm sad I couldn't go to the reunion party with H's former job. It was on Saturday and I was still not 100% well and I didn't want to share "Vinterkräksjukan" with anyone. Selfish of me I know ;-) but I do think they would have thanked me if they knew.
Anyway H went and he had so much fun. There were of course a lot of memories but also new ones were created so who knows maybe there will be another reunion a couple of years down the line.

While H were at this party having good food I sat at home eating my yoghurt and rusk and a cup of tea while watching the Melodifestival. It was actually quite nice to be on my own, well of course Hilma was home with me and we took a brief walk, sitting cozy in the sofa with blankets and pillows. The songs this Saturday were very good I think and I also think it was the right songs that went to the final.

Yesterday I took a long walk with Hilma which was very nice because I hadn't been out since Wednesday. I also ate real food for the first time and it tasted good and my stomach liked it.

Today I have been to the Rheumatic gymnastics and it's always nice. We start by relaxing, then foot gymnastics and after that Qigong (the medicine one) and we round it off with selfmassage, which is really nice, and relaxing. The whole program is 1 1/2 hours in total and so nice and very needed.

This week is very quiet. Nothing planned more than work so it feels kind of funny. Oh well I almost forgot. E is having his operation on Wednesday so there will be some worrying of course and maybe we have to help him out the first day or days. He was talking of staying here the first night. I sure hope everything goes well and that he will have almost perfect hearing afterwards (they say he can never have 100% but 80-90% and that is good).

It really snowed this morning and that wasn't very nice at all! If we didn't get any snow before why now? I think we can cope without that now thank you.

My lucky moment today was at the gymnastics when we relaxed afterwards and I felt completely relaxed. That's a wonderful feeling but so rare.

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
