Happy Valentine's Day

Yesterday was a very busy day. As I told you we were gonna have an emergency meeting and when the handling officer came and saw the state O was in she said he has to go back to hospital. She also arranged for Mom to go to the shorttime home again. I called an ambulance and Mom's and Dad's community help stayed on and helped him and also locked the house. I took Mom down to the home where she's gonna stay. It's a bit far from their home so we drove there. She wasn't keen on going but when we got there they showed her the new room and she was very glad because this time she was given a single room with a very nice view.

After I had seen that she was well taken care of I drove home again, went shopping food for dinner, ate, took a shower and was off to AD who was hosting a MaryKay skin care class. I had never been to one before and I can say that this was really my happy moment of the day and very well needed after all that had happened earlier.
We were 5 very happy ladies that tried every product that our very good therapeut showed us. We also learnt the routine. Lots of laughter and it all ended with a very nice cup of tea (for me) and coffee with sandwiches. Thank you AD for the initiative and your hospitality.

Today is Valentine's Day and I love to surprise my friends and family so a couple of weeks ago I ordered flowers to be delivered today. Some of them has called me, very surprised but very happy. I just love that when you can make someone happy by surprising them with something extra. I have also received, not flowers, but several e-mails and MMS and I love the idea of us thinking of our loved ones and on a special day also show them how much they mean. It musn't necessarily be Valentine's Day just that you think of one another and tell them that you love them. It can as easily be on March 2, just to name one :-)

Tonight H.E.A.T is opening act to Hanoi rocks at Medis in Stockholm. I'm sad that I can't be there but my eldest son D is there. Saturday they will be in Umeå playing at house of metal festival. I'm so curious of their album but it's not ready yet but soon. I think I will be the first in line to buy it :-)

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
